protank coil rebuild/confused Watched too many videos HA

I have been making my own coils for the wife's T3s clearomisers. I use 28 gauge kanthal and create a micro coils around a 1.5mm drill bit. I find about 9 wraps then pinch together and touch it works well. I wick with muji Japanese cotton as this is very easy to pull through the coils once back...

iStick vs Vaporshark and Nautilus vs Kayfun Lite Plus

I am a pretty new vapour and my first step up the ladder from a standard ego was to an iStick. I have looked at lots and lots of different types of VW devices and for me it was more to do with the size of the iStick and the battery life. I didnot want a huge "light sabre" of a device just to get...

Protank 2 vs Protank Mini 3

After a few days using a dual coil I realised that I was using more juice and the battery didn't last as long so I ripped it out and built a single micro coil with Japanese cotton for the wick and in my opinion it was better than the dual coil and saves juice and battery No brainier really

Hi again !! I think it is personal opinion some say dual coils are great some prefer single coils. I suppose as well on what juice your using and what power you are putting through the coils and what ohm they are. Me personally I prefer a single micro coil with cotton either horizontal or...

    Protank Mini 3 coils?

Kanger have "upgraded" to a new enclosed wick dual coil. If this is to stop people rebuilding them or not is a bit of a mystery. If it is to stop people rebuilding then they have failed. I use the new enclosed coils in my emow mega and I rebuild them to a single vertical micro coil wrapped with...

    Replacing wick and coil

As djsvapour mentioned these are the same type of coils that are used in the kanger tanks and they are simple to rebuild. Their are plenty of posts on this forum on how to do this and some good you tube videos. Here is a you tube video from rip tripper which will show you the easiest way to do...
