I have an EMOW Mega, and a few PT 2 and the EMOW is better.
Totally agree re the stock coils. With the EMOW I would suggest getting the new upgraded enclosed dual coils and strip them down and build a vertical micro coil, wick with Japanese cotton and you will be blown away.
Here is a thread I...
Don't write of your Kanger gear just yet. It is easy to turn the Kanger coils in to a BVC if you got a bit of rebuilding knowledge behind you. Here is a thread I did the other day about it...
Hi All,
I am glad that you are finding this helpful.
An update for everyone on this as well. This morning I wanted to change the juice in my EMOW Mega and when I change juice I always either put a new head in that I have already made vertically as I don't like any "cross contamination" of...
I have done this with the older style heads but sometimes did not get the cotton amount correct so now I use the muji around the coil I know exactly how much to use every time
Cheers
Does the evod glass have an air flow control ring ??
I find the more air flow the better for these vertical coils, if it doesn't and the air flow is not that good you could drill out the holes in the base to make them larger
Kanger Emow Mega with re-built vertical coil and I run my istick at about 12 watts, excellent vape.
Here is how I rebuild the new enclosed kanger coils to vertical
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/616781-rebuild-upgraded-kanger-dual-coil-single-vertical-coil.html
I started off quite simple I use
28 gauge Kanthal
Organic unbleached cotton balls
1.5mm drill bit to wrap around
And I watched this

Now I have upgraded my Kanger tank which uses the new upgraded enclosed coils on a eLeaf iStick, so Everyone was...
I don't own a Vamo or use replaceable batteries but I think have a read here will probably answer your questions

Enjoy vaping and always be safe with batteries
Those that don't vape don't understand !!
Of course you NEED it, how can you continue to vape if you don't have it !!!
Joking aside it is a great little mod, I moved from ego style vv to this being what I call my first "mod" and I find it a great vape so much better.
I have just got yesterday...
What a genius idea
I just received yesterday an EMOW Mega as I like the 19mm diamatier on my iStick and when I filled it up the box said 2.8ml, didn't look it to me when I put it back on my mod and thought damm where's all my juice gone !!
Not noticing that when you put it right way up most...
You can do but if you do want to get to the 20 watts because an iStick will only go as high as the coil allows you will need about a 1.2ohm coil. To prevent burning you do need good airflow which you should get as I use the same sort of set up on one of my tanks but I build my own coils as I...
Here is a you tube video that shows you how to do it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtS1xyoCME8
I use cotton and I find it a better vape with more flavour to be honest. I use Muji japanese cotton makes it very easy to wick
If you go through the main eLeaf iStick thread here
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/601111-eleaf-istick.html
A few people have had this with lower ohm coils on the iStick. It is due to the fact that the iStick is putting out more power than the screen...
Thanks for the tip, It was screwed in to the old T3S base that I used when I put it on the ohms meter, I suppose I should have taken it of the meter first !!
Cheers
I believe it is a bit fiddly to thread the silica through the coil. If you are going to wrap the coil around the silica use a small needle and wrap the coil around the silica and needle together, this makes it a bit more rigid and easier to wrap.
Again plenty of you tube vids showing how to do...
