how to tell when battery needs to be charged?
You need a multimeter to check that battery. Or a mod that is vv and has the capability to check it for you. You are going to ruin the battery or do some damage if you do not think safety applies to you.- ShariR

Never ever got banana in my Smooth Criminal, old or new version. What was in the tank before the SC? If you were vaping something with banana in it, it may be a leave over even if you cleaned the tank. If not, call Ahlusion and let them know. -

I hope you are are the mend soon. They are letting you vape in the hospital? Remember, vaping is dehydrating and will mess with your iv and fluids. Let them know if you are vaping. You do not need complications. Please get well quickly.- ShariR
