Just a thought here. Wick won't get wet/bad burnt hits - this sounds like you may have too much cotton/rayon going through the coil. Try using less - the wick should fit through the coil so it touches all sides but you can still move it fairly easily. Thin out your wick. This happens to me... -

Tennessee just put into effect a law that puts animal abusers on a watch list for 2 years. So you can look them up just like you can look up a sex abuser. I think it is the first state to pass such a law. -

Ahlusion is the only vendor I have been using for over a year now. My 2 favorite flavors with them are Caramel Pear Black Tea and Godfather. Godfather is a bakery/tobacco type flavor. I get mine 12mg, 30VG/70PG and they are perfect in my Russian 91s which are just like the Kayfun. -

If you like the Kayfun but can not get by the whistle, you may want to give a look at the Russian 91% by Kebo. So close in design that most parts are interchangeable, airflow control on the side instead of the bottom. I have 5 of them and never had a whistle problem.
