    Slide area on Whidbey Island, WA. that has been on the news so much lately. This was taken from clear across the bay near the Fort Casey Ferry Docks. Look very closely at how much dirt went down the hill! That is 1/4th. mile of bluff that slid! Also look at how close it got to the houses! GPR

    thanks Lisa! :) I really liked the looks of that piece of driftwood too. :) There was just something about it that intrigued me. :) The second photo is indeed the work of a good sized beaver. If you look at the close-up photos of that damage you can see the teeth marks all over the wood. GPR
