Yes there is a lake up there that Salmon return to, we boated around on it. It's called Redfish Lake. The Salmon river starts up there so does the Payette.

I lived in Boise for a bit. It had great weather, there were bike and jiking trails integrated in the city and burbs, fishing, skiing all right there. You could be in desert, mountain, untouched forest all with in about in hour from where I was...no humidity! It's the humidity in the East coast...

I'm both. More an outdoor person when I was living out west. Waiting on some warmer weather now that I'm back on the planet Ohio. I'm usually at work, or here at the PC when it's cold or wet though.
It's not as formal as "writing". You play... you make a song...you record.... You jam or when you are bands you develop originals to play. It's not like writing a classical piece.

I used to... a lot. I haven't much at all in the last 5 years. There are things I can't play anymore than I wrote...lol Between work and having gone back and finished a degree and in the middle of that giving my dad a kidney a little over a year ago... I haven't made a lot of time to play.
