Other news/notes: I am evidently either vaping or tearing the house (even more) apart tonight.
Bad planning on the kittyns part means I forgot one of the bills. No big deal. I paid it, I have 'emergency funding' if I need gas or actual NEEDS. I have a bag of tobacco stashed. We'll be good...
I do Luzianne for sun tea. :)
I'll start with room temp water and stick it in a sunny inside spot if the weather isn't cooperating, normally. Storming might put a damper in that method though. I may resort to trying additional trickery, I'll just have to figure out how much extra tea is...
Well we wouldn't be/have been in the 'still addicted' thread otherwise.
And I now have a strong urge to see if it'll be 'sun' enough tomorrow for tea. First day this week its supposed to be under 80 and t-storms. Figures. I will claim the title of 'Queen can and will figure out a way for sun...
I rarely do coffee, but!
I cold brew when I do. I put it in a gallon sun tea jar. Cold brew coffee tends to be -really- strong (like my mom who is the queen of strong and black waters it down), and I'll go through my gallon in about 4 days.
I do drink tea. A lot of it. Still very strong...
I'm kind of glad to find out someone else has weird 'Oh heck no!' issues about something mostly 'stupid' like juice color.
And yeah, it's a sweater. I enlarged and everything to make sure I was seeing it right before designating the top bit a sweater :p
heh, one of my kids is clean and one looks like a street urchin.Well, sorta, if street urchins had access to mass amounts of markers at least.
I make sure the one who goes to school looks decent at least once daily, that has to count for something :p
(The other one will get a bath shortly, I...
Oh that's just the most recent exploit of my husband. The most notable is managing to tear...Two tendons and a muscle in his knee/leg? Or maybe the other way around, muscles and a tendon? Something like that, falling down the bottom section of a set of outside stairs that myself and an 18 moth...
Well that was the quickest catch up on Monday reading I've ever had. :p
So, my awesome WHOO I GET TIME ALL BY MYSELF on Saturday didn't happen -.-
Nope, I got to spend Sat in the ER with the male. Why, you ask? Well, because my genius of a husband had a boil on his leg. Where he couldn't see...
Just remembered I had that in my pictures, so up here for real book lovers :)
It's about time for me to go to work, so good night everyone who shall be sleeping soon.
I read it, then thought it sounded sarcastic, then went NAHH not in the context of this conversation, and decided in either case, I'd do what I'd actually intended to anyway, which was say that actual tree killing books are my buddies.
Err...I just realised how ranty that is. Wasn't intending for it to be, so here, I'll go back to loving physical books:
They smell amazing, I can touch them without unintentionally skipping 50 pages, and I don't have to worry about having wasted hundreds of dollars if I fall asleep reading, or...
Of course a self respecting library can be filled with paperbacks. Hmph! It's a budget conscious library :P
I do love actual books though. I have spent the past two years ranting since our schools started pushing for iPads as mandatory and replacing some textbooks. I just don't see the value as...
I originally had a Kindle because I don't acquire as many books that way, period.
My local library has a permanent book sale location for retired copies, open one weekend a month. Paper grocery bag for $3? Heck yeah, and you can bet I'll fill it. Or used book stores where I can pick up books...
