Well said, Foggy. I smoked for 42 years and ended up smoking nearly 4 packs a day. I tried to quit quite a few times. Wellbutrin made me shaky and weepy. Acupuncture didn't work at all. Group class only lasted about a week. Hypnotism worked the best...1 month. I even tried vaping 3 separate...
It's definitely not a walk on the beach. It's a very difficult thing to do. Nic isn't the only thing in cigarettes we're addicted to. They put so many additives in cigarettes to keep people smoking it makes it very hard to quit. It's said that there are even chemicals that act as antidepressants...
@tgs3 Woohoo! Congrats on getting down to 9 smokes a day, especially when 2 of them are in the morning. I'm anxious to see how it goes when you go back to work. I'm hoping for the best!
I make a .3ohm coil running on a DNA VT133 with 70vg and I only run it at 35 watts. Obviously it could go higher but I prefer a cooler vape. Who wants to steam cook their lungs anyway?

The last cigarettes are definitely the hardest. Those triggers are pretty much a given for any smoker. I know my car wouldn't start if I didn't have a smoke in hand.
I was a smoker who had...
I haven't yet been diagnosed with COPD, nor do I have asthma or allergies, so I consider myself lucky so far. The first time I vaped a high VG juice I woke up the next morning with my chest feeling so heavy I had a hard time catching my breath. It was downright scary. I backed off the vg for a...
It's good you have a week head start. I know that after I had a few months or under my belt I kept going because of not wanting to break my streak. It was the longest I'd ever been without a cigarette in 42 years.
I used 24mg nic and 70 pg for a long time after I quit. Finally after a couple...
I've heard some say that if you have the urge to smoke, vape heavy for 10 minutes and if you still have the urge, go ahead and smoke without guilt, knowing that you tried. Most of them say that after those 10 minutes have passed so has the urge to smoke.
