    I gotta stay away from...

The Reo is a different animal. Of everything I've tried in the 9 months I've been vaping, the Reo is the one experience that has no parallels with anything else except perhaps for dripping, but even then it's quite different when you get the right atty. It's all in the squonk; so hard to get...

    The House of Pancake

Most of Australia probably fits that description. Apart from that, I believe California has the closest thing to real weather. :-)

    The House of Pancake

One day I may indeed visit the land of the Provarinati, however I am currently still on sabbatical in Reo. As of now my second is on the way, a blue/black grand, a much abused child of the VV whose thumb fingered attempts at a repair have rendered it incapable of vapour. It is coming to a good...

    I gotta stay away from...

Ah yes, Christmas in the tropics. The shadows at midday are *very* short in Summer here. Christmas day is usually either stinking hot or pouring with torrential rain. At the moment the most likely outcome is stinking hot in the morning and torrential rain in the afternoon... we shall see...

Hey Sir Steve, sounds like you've had a few trials of your own. I hope things start looking up for you and that you are healing up well.

    Provari with RDA draining batteries

Maths. 5 volts into a 1.8 ohm dual coil is nearly 14 watts. At a median terminal voltage of 3.7V for the battery, that would be about 15 minutes button-on time to dead flat, or about 180 five second puffs. That's assuming full efficiency and a perfect battery. Two hours would be about right...

What are you waiting for in the mail?

Good luck with the Ms T's order. As you can see she was de-registered as an approved supplier: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ms-ts-bakery/488453-midnight-tonight.html I think there's threads about it on AVF as well. ETA: Also be a little concerned about butter flavourings that...

Comment by 'fabricator4' in 'Bottom Coil Clearomizers'

It's not a T3S is it? The heads are different to Evod/Protank because they have a smaller diameter flange. If you use an Evod head on a T3S it will stop the base screwing on properly. I'm not inclined to recommend the T3S although it works OK and is cheap. The flavour is also better on a...

    Plastic Clearomizers

All parts should always be washed before you use them. You can put them in hot water and agitate or put them in a pan of boiling water. it won't hurt them. boil the heads as well. I don't believe many of these companies treat the product as a food grade device should be. Sizing on the...

Very Irritating Experience (Kanger ProTank II)

If the protank draw is very much tighter on the battery than it is off it, then there's a problem with the base not working on that device. It's a problem that occurred on the early Protank 2s that was supposedly fixed. Try not tightening it down all the way and see if it's any better. The...

Comment by 'fabricator4' in 'Bottom Coil Clearomizers'

I agree, if the air bubbles are not releasing from the wick area it may be causing the juice to wick more slowly than normal. I only have this problem on the narrower devices like the mini Protank 2. Flipping the rubber cap over has solved this completely for me. Another issue that can cause...

Do Evods have to be kept upright ?

Ah, intentional tact on my part. Seriously, if you've escaped that particular celestial bad joke so far I think you'll continue in good health for some time. I have seen my mother and grandmother go down this path and the onset is gradual but very noticeable. It looks to me like...

Do Evods have to be kept upright ?

Nicotine also seems to be useful in preventing or slowing dementia and Alzheimers, just to name two. It actually increases blood vessel growth. While I'm happy to reduce my nicotine intake I'm in doubt as to whether I want to cut it out altogether.

    Noob in need

It also depends on the type of liquid you use. With a light liquid I get up to two weeks of heavy vaping from a head, but with a thick dark liquid it may last only one or two days. The ratio of VG will also have an affect because VG tends to gunk up faster than PG. Another factor is heat. If...

Do Evods have to be kept upright ?

Generally, you will want to keep them upright. Having said that, I lay them down all the time with no problems as long as there is plenty of liquid in them. I've only had leaking when there was very little liquid in them, and they were left for a very long time (weeks), and that was when they...

Locating the C-rating of my batteries

All of the the V2 batteries are 10C rated. The V1 version was possibly rated at 5C and perhaps the reason for so many web pages that state this battery is only good for 10 amps. Just make sure that you have the V2 batteries.

Need some advice on funky taste with replaced coil...

In the primer you'll see I say it's possible to skip the drying stage, but that you run the risk of other problems, such as a dry burn on a long wick not working completely well. Also when putting juice into a tank with a wick that is wet with water, you will have to vape that out of the wick...
