    I gotta stay away from...

RW = Real World ie not the digital one we get so familiar with. I agree, I miss the family not currently with us, and hope they will come back. There's been a lot of love shared in this thread and they are a part of that.

    Itaste Mvp 2.0 settings question

Don't mess with the center pin on your MVP, unless it's been pushed in by screwing things on too tight. A bit of vapour coming from the bottom of the clearomiser is not unusual if you take it off immediately after vaping - it's just vapour. BCC devices don't need the high volts that some...

My 1st post - Question on my next upgrade

You've pretty well got it covered, so your research has been spot on. I would have suggested the VV V3 if you are ready for that level of technology, and 800 mAh could be as much as four times more battery life than you are getting out of the cigalike, and you still maintain a fairly small form...

    Hooray, more noobs!

Yes. A digital readout is necessary to look at the ohms reading, and is darned handy to set volts or watts. An indication of when the battery is full/half/nearly empty is a great feature VW is great if you have a variety of different resistance coils but use all the same devices like...

    Hooray, more noobs!

The iTaste VV V3 might be a good upgrade. It has both VV and VW and an ohmmeter. Basically, all the features you look for in a bigger mod but in an much smaller package. I have one on order myself, to replace a twist. Other favourites you might like to look at are the Innokin MVP 2 for a...

    Vitamin-c

Yes you can probably add a small amount of ascorbic acid to e-liquid, but there's really no point. Absorption of vitamin C has to be via the small intestine, it isn't absorbed by the lungs or mucus membranes as far as I know.

Gerrrrrr, I hate being a noob

I take it someone disagreed, and used your lack of post count to put you down. That speaks more for their lack of maturity, since post count and date joined has nothing to do with how much you know or what your vaping experience really is. Life does not start when you join ECF. If someone...

Comment by 'fabricator4' in 'Bottom Coil Clearomizers'

A lot of people are using 100% cotton wool. You boil it three times to remove any sizing or other manufacturing by-products. For Yarn, I think you want about 5 ply or just under that. If it's too light you can double it up. You can also pull yarn apart if you need extra flavour wicks...

Owwww. Ouch. That was painful to watch. He also wraps on loose silica with nothing to support it. I watched up to the point where he started cutting wires before he had the grommet and center pin in to hold them and couldn't stand it any more. REALLY makes me want to bust out and do a...

Well it's only her first e-cig, giver her a chance. She'll be upgrading to VV in about two weeks.

ETA: It's also the one bottle of fizz that kids and the SO never touch, so it's always still there when I need it. :2cool:

I keep tonic water (Indian, with quinone) in the fridge for those occasions. It helps to bring the taste buds back a little. Add gin and lemon as required.

Five weeks analog free, but I have't saved any money.

Savings only happen when you get control of the acquisition disorder.

The flavour wicks will float away. I got sick of messing with flavour wicks - I have many meters of 2.5mm wick and just replace it each time I dry burn now. If I was stuck on a desert island and had no spares I would torch the flavour wicks and put them back in I suppose.

If it is, it will have the K logo and "Kanger Protank" etched on the bottom cap. I like the lighter draw because it lets me control the air through the device, not the other way around. The Protank II products have a slightly tighter draw, and you can block one of the airholes just above...

    ego 650 mah flashing

Cartomiser: (carto) Metal tube with polyfil and a coil inside - the kind of thing often used on cigalikes. A tank with a carto(miser) in it is cart tank. Clearomiser: (clearo) A clear tube with either metal or plastic end caps that holds the liquid which is wicked into the coil. Some look...

    spinner vs winder?

Yep, +1 for the VV v3 here too. I've got one on the way to replace a twist battery. Built in ohmmeter and the ability to set by VW as well. It's not too bad if you are not in a hurry and are happy to order from Fasttech - $25 white battery only, with up to a 5 day wait until it ships.

Yes I think I've got a KWX10 on the way also - in the five or six others that I'm trying. I wasn't impressed with the early copies that did not have the grooves cut in the underside of the base for airflow, but they seem to be making things better now. To open them, remove the rubber cap and...
