Have a friend that had a van full with mechanic type tools and his van was broken into and he lost most of the tools. Don't want the same thing to happen fer me. No tools but valuables we can't insure. But a garage entails all sorts of fire ......ant wood (walls/doors/maybe ceiling too)...
Once the govt let us pick our own work boots from a catalog, when I got mine it looked so purdy I didn't want to subject to all the sludge and oil so I never used it. Must be over 40 years old now and I still have it....leather still soft , unlike my old bowling shoes...didn't know they...
Wow, Ed!!!! That is mighty nice looking werk you've done. I can imagine how ya back felt after that last post of yours. Cringing here, buddy.
You should learn how to enclose carports, seems like lots of money to be made there. ;)
I think you'll like them, they're lightweight, has good arch support and nice cushioning. The reviews I've seen for this shoe over the years has been amazing and a lot of them. :). Not a work shoe but a casual walking type shoe its great.
In Hawaii when you go to the beach you wanna wear something that you can wash the sand off from. When the sand ends up in your carpet (auto/home) its a beach to get it out. Rental cars charge you extra here if there's sand in the vehicle (carpeting/trunk).
Shoebuy via ebates would have been same price but about an $8 check would have been mailed to you. Still excellent price though. Like I said I spent a lot more than that :)
edit: Dang yer quick!!! I was gonna suggest you find a Merrell B&M store and try'em on first
I'm a member of ebates.com and you get a discount buying through them (sometimes the store may run a double discount special). Stores include shoes.com, shoebuy.com, tons of stores on most anything. I see shoebuy has 14% off through ebates now. Joining ebates is free and every 3 mos or so...
My oldest son once wanted to borrow them, ending up taking it to LA with him. That was like 5 years ago and hasn't bought any other brand of shoes since. Whenever he needs a new pair he calls me to find them online.
Scoot if ya like comfortable shoes I always buy "Merrell" Jungle Mocs Men I have really sensitive feet and these are the most comfortable that I've found so far
Yeah I may have to settle for something that looks big and mean :). Don't know what insurance company would go through to determine a x breed make-up, lol they may get dna testing if it'll save them from paying out. I'll think of something
Thats what a lot of newcomers say but when they been here a while they don't use nutting but. So easy on and easy off, almost all never wear shoes inside someone's home here, it's like papa said in Fiddler on the Roof, ~TRADITION!!!!~.
