Hi Susan, One of my 16340/3.6v batts are too big. It goes in but I have to force it a bit. So I quit using that one. I have mostly been using the xhaler at 5v. So haven't even been using the 16340 batts very much. When I do use the 16340 batt with a dummy for 3.7v vapin' I get approx. the same...- sstambo

Dale-I have alot of the same flavors that you have. I have not had this problem. Some flavors are a little weak so I have to up the percentage. I get a very mellow throat hit if any with my DIY from capella's.- sstambo
