My limited experience with these things suggests that if he was like me 6 years ago then his mix was more likely very high pg - indeed 7 years ago i used a Silver Bullet (which is like a Vamo, only better) and a tank on top. At about 0.3Ω the steel springs would start to feel the pace and gradually sag! It'd take a day or so, but eventually the battery would rattle and ofc the mod would no longer fire.
