i did like ss mesh wicks but not the gennies they went in. i once used one in a RM2, but it dried out so fast it was scary - one puff/one squonk. Ceramic wick was the same, but suffered fewer hotspots. i still have a sheet of ss mesh here someplace - i think i last used it to repair a hole in...- supertrunker

But i don't want to have to do maintenance on my gear every week. i want my coils and wicks to last months which is why i got away from cotton as fast as i could. Since i use the same juice all the time, i'm not bothered by how long the wick is in there. It's why i run a Reo - hardly any...- supertrunker

My favourite build for a long time was a 32g kanthal parallel spaced 4 wrap on 5mm silica that hit 1Ω every time. In a RM2. Now i'm on the RxW wagon too, but my builds are lower. Thanks for the advice on the weedeaters, i've stored that for when i lose my temper with mine :) T- supertrunker

70s just now as HRH embarks on her shopping marathon, but likely to be 80s before the day is over. No rain - all the windows open. Not many days a year this happens. i never owned a Provari, but their customer service was/is very good and i liked the banter with the provarinati. My first decent mod was a silver bullet, then a Reo that i still use all day today.
