Work has been cutting all the sheetrock there back to 4 feet above floor level - and they only sustained at most 6 inches of flooding, so your place will be ruined Tami, regardless of the insulation.
They had easily 40+ blowers and dehumidifiers operating in there for days and there are still...
i like the ironwood one and the hybrid one, which likely explains why i have an ironwood and a hybrid, only the last one is the Cowbell, so that's double points!
Good to hear Tami is okay - it's always a s41t when they cannot control the river levels and they are doing the same in Houston...
HRH filled the car up on Thursday when i read that Dallas petrol prices were at $4 a gallon, so that will last me a month unless she embarks on more shopping expeditions like the one yesterday.
Two blocks up from me and all you can see on the side of the road is discarded furniture, carpet and...
i choose not to eat that stuff and it obviously causes a few people to get bent out of shape. Work paid for lunch for 3 days. Pizza, Baked potato, bread roll + corn and meat on Friday. 'Oh more carbs'.
'Trunker - it won't kill you to eat this stuff once in a while'.
What i dislike is the...
Holiday weekend, - oh, that Labor Day thing?
Last 2 days at work have been spent stripping it of all drywall to a level of 4 feet after it flooded. Monday has now become an optional workday and i can't see myself not going in (just don't tell them). Today was sorting out my place, mowing the...
No update today cos i had to go back to work to get them out of the shame my office is flooded, but so is all the lower floor.
Since i work using a laptop usually, it's not much of an inconvenience for me since i can work anywhere.
Some of the batch looks really cool - but needs more cowbell :)

Day 5 weather forecast: still hammering down. Work is cancelled again on account of not having access to a helicopter!
Being English (when it suits me) i'm used to getting rained on; what i am not used to is getting nearly a year's worth in under a week. At least it looks like the thing is...
You could always stay here Tami, if you were flooded like and desperate kinda. If the Bra's are off err Brazos misbehaves. Just saying all neighbourly like.
Still raining.
Trunky - please come to work tomorrow. Oh, bloody hell ok then. No end of it i tell you.

Text of the day: You want me to pick you up?
To do what?
Move stuff upstairs.
Oh, .... you should have done on Friday? Oh, yes please said nobody. Cat says meh!
Where's the router? On my windowsill here.

Proof that humans can survive 50F. So sorry you were the Guinea pig Doffy. But in the same way that Yuri Gagarin and Neil Armstrong are revered, you will be too. Heroics indeed and i think i just heard Oates come back into the tent to shake your hand before his stroll.
There really is no limit...
Yeah, i'm lazy. When this all changed over from the other bulletin board format i was told it'd be just drag and drop, but it isnt.
None of my pics ever loaded on Linux (so i used photobucket) and they don't load now either. Plus ca change.

Depends which version on positive pin you have. Some are a press fit on the older ones (like mine say) but the newer gear may be different and P67's are adjustable too, just to add to the dilemma.
Sounds to me like you stripped the threads on it, but it's equally possible you are just a button...
No wife beating here! Here's a pic from Saturday that HRH took.
Trunker, Trunker wake up - the water is getting nearer. Oh, you confused me for King Canute (feel free to play with the spelling).
Looks the same to me.

Nobody except guys with trucks 3' off the ground went to my work today. There is 4" of rainwater in there i'm told, so i expect my office is flooded too.
Since i am ever considerate and my weapon of choice is a laptop i've offered to work from the upstairs at work until they have repaired the...
