    Using a needle helps so much! Remember to not wrap the wire super-tight around the wick as well. Make one, then check the ohms - from there you can figure out how many wraps you need to make.

    Personally, I use my evods until there's only a drop or two of juice left - if I can't see any thru the little window, or if only a little bit collects in the clear top part of the tank when I turn it upside down, that's my indication to refill. You can always pour the last bit of juice back...

    boil your cotton wicks

    I use cotton crochet yarn, and boil it twice (30 minutes each time). If anything, it makes the yarn a little stiffer, and easier to work with. (that's what she said! LOL)

    I have a small front pocket in my purse - usually carry a couple full evods, ego batteries, and a small bottle of juice. If I want to carry my MVP or X6 with a tank attached, I have another pocket on the other side with a snap in the middle, so the PV can stay upright.

    I had a few breakouts that started a few weeks after quitting smoking, but it cleared up after about 2-3 weeks. From what I read, this is a very common side effect of the detox process. Hang in there!

    I did boil mine twice - 30 minutes each time in separate pots of water. The boost in flavor over silica is definitely noticeable!

    Topwater is exactly right. The whole VV/VW thing confused me at first, too, but now I'm a voltage girl. LOL Also, are you checking the ohms on each new head that you put in? On my Protank 2, I got 2 heads - one was 2.5, the other was 1.8. That'll make a difference in your choice of volts/watts.

    Woo hoo - congrats! I recently started rebuilding evod/protank heads as well, using 32 gauge kanthal and cotton yarn. The needle trick mentioned earlier is something I'd recommend for sure. I'm going to try wrapping the wire around a machine screw and threading the cotton through next.
