    I have just had the same problem as you my the bottom of my Unit was getting hot >pulled the batteries and the bottom one was extremely hot (so hot i couldn't handle it ) this is the first time experiencing this .I do occasionally have the same issue with it working after a fresh battery change...

    510 passthrough

    Got 4 of the Ultra Fire AAA Li-ion 3.6v 500ma battery today and it is working fine for those who where guessing . I let 2 of them sit in the 510 PT and charge for 2 hours and then began to vape away with no problems
