I too would recommend either a Kanger T3 or Vivi Nova. Stick them on an eGo Twist or Spinner and you you should be much happier. For a more pocket friendly option the T3 (low resistance) or mini Vivi Nova (with the 1.8ohm head) and a standard 650mah eGo.
edit: I too found the Boge cartos to be...
You definitely need to get a hold of the vendor. Sounds like at the very least the atomizers are DOA. Like Judgement said, don't mess with the battery, it sounds like they are working (assuming the button lights up when pressed).
I loved my Bolt and was going to get a Kick for it. But, I ended up with a Provari instead. My brother now has my Bolt and is loving it. A kicked Bolt should be worlds above your current setup. I loved my Vivi Novas too. I'd only suggest you get at least one more, that way you have a backup. And...
Yeah, I use a Fong diffuser too for my Nikon flash. My other lights are Lumedynes and battery powered, so I use them inside and out. I use Softlighter umbrellas, that have a diffuser which makes them into soft boxes. Very versatile system, and cheapish too.

I'd suggest using one of the suppliers listed here. Many people have dealt with these vendors, they are known quantities. Plus, the one you're looking at is a knockoff, as the vendor basically stated.
Someone posted a while back that some of the flavor actually doesn't make it up the wick. Thus the wick acts almost like filter. Most of the flavor makes it up the wick, but some doesn't.
I'd fill until it gets slushy, wait a few minutes and if that slushy look is gone do it again. If you get a drop or 2 coming out of the threaded end it's full, just blow out the excess.
If you want try a new flavors without committing them to your clearo get a dripping atomizer and a drip tip to match. I.E. get a 510 dripping atomizer or a HH.357 and pair it with a 510 drip tip. Or, get a 306 with a 306 drip tip. I'm using the 306 with a canon drip tip for testing DIY juices...
For me the biggest difference was getting a Twist and Vivi Nova combo. I had started with and eGo T and it just wasn't cutting it. When I got the new combo it was like a light switch was thrown. But, the first 2-3 weeks after that were still hard. I just had to vape through it, which I couldn't...
The beauty of VV is that you can find the sweet spot for each flavor and you can use a wide variety of devices at different resistances. I'd suggest either a Spinner or Twist, a charger, and a couple of Kanger T3 or Vivi Novas. If you went with the T3 you'd be looking at about $40 with one...
Looks like a great kit to me. Just get an extra Vivi Nova (got to have backups) and you'd be good to go. I really liked my Bolt and would've Kicked it, if I hadn't received a Provari fro Christmas. I gave the Bolt to my Brother for Christmas and he's loving it.
I've mostly moved on to carto tanks, but before that it was Vivi Novas (actually GS Vcore) and loved them. Easy to maintain and no leaking issues (until dropped on concrete). Flavor with 30/70 juice was ok, but the carto tank is much better (don't like cartos outside of a tank though). I just...
Off the top of my head there's only one thing missing and that's a carto punch. That's of course assuming those aren't pre-punched carto.
BTW, welcome to ECF and congrats on quitting.
As much as I love my Provari I'd recommend a couple of Twists (charger too of course) and either the T3 or Vivi Nova. The Twists will let you see if you like variable voltage and thus if the Provari is up your alley. Then if you go with the Provari your Twists can be backups. I'd also recommend...
