    Down to 6mg...

I just made the move to 6mg today. Down from 24-36mg last June. I like that I can go hours without intense cravings. I'll move to 3mg in a couple of months. And 0mg some time after that. I plan to vape off and on after that. Not really quit, but not have to be tied to it either.

    Phiniac Carto Tank Cartomizers

Don't forget a refilling drip tip from IBTanked, or Slap Yo Mama carto tank tool.

    Taste test tank

I'm using one of these for testing flavors. I'm going on a year and a half on the same atomizer. ETA: There's this one too. But, I can't vouch for the vendor, and it's not a Cisco.

Are those who claim that vaping is safer than smoking liars?

OP, "And to all those who accuse me of this or that, I don't think that accusations are going to bring anything valid to the argumentation, it just proves that you are going into this blindly whithout asking yourselves too many questions." And calling us liars will? You lost me with your thread...

What's the Right One for Kayaking/Camping?

I kayak fish too and use an Ego Upgrade w/an Evod, on a lanyard. It's gets light splashes and works great. On this setup I use a much higher nic level too. That way I don't have to hit it as often which saves battery life too. How long do you plan to be away from electricity? What do you plan on...

First two carto-tanks, second one is useless...

IBTanked for me too. Flanged and unflanged, no problems.

    What do I want?

I think something like the Evod system would work fine. Get 2 kits though. You'll want back ups for everything. In fact the saying around hear is back ups for your back ups. 2 batteries might get you through the day, but what will you do while they're charging.

Thinking of getting a couple IBTanked

Causes of flooding (that I can think of)... 1. over primed 2. carto is near the end of its lifespan 3. too many holes for the viscosity of the juice (this is probably the main reason) 4. altitude changes

Thinking of getting a couple IBTanked

With my super clear juices I think I'm getting about 40-50ml through an XL Smok (Boge cartos clog much quicker in my experience). You know it's time to swap when the draw gets tight, it spontaneously floods, or the taste is burnt or off.

Thinking of getting a couple IBTanked

Definitely read Baditude's blogs. He's the reason I use carto tanks, I too was nervous. Make sure when you order your tank that you order a refilling drip tip. It makes refilling a carto tank a breeze. Or spend a bit more and get a Slap Yo Mama. That one is supposedly even better as you can use...

    Where to go next

Cartos aren't rebuildable. They cost about $1.70 (depending on brand, holes...) and you pitch them when the draw gets too tight, they flood, or start tasting burnt. I get about 40-50ml+ through a carto. I use clear juices, dark ones will clog a carto faster. Can't speak to the Kayfun or similar...

    Where to go next

Yeah Rucni, getting started is definitely the most costly part. Too bad you did RYO, you'd be saving and the wife wouldn't be on you. If you go the carto tank route, try Smok cartos. In my experience you can get more liquid through them before they tighten up. Keith, good to see you on here.

    Where to go next

+20000000000000000 on the carto tank. I too am a huge fan of IBTanked. BTW, you've spent $400 on gear. Doesn't seem like much to me (I'm not a chaser of shiny either). How much have you saved? Maybe point that out to her?

    Help with carto tanks

In my experience carto tanks taste way better than clearos. I don't like cartos plain, because as the juice is used up you can taste the filler. Not so when you put it in a tank, first hit is like the last. You know it's time to change cartos when the draw becomes tight, it starts flooding for...

The Provari Mini Starter Kit: I have questions ans concerns

Congrats on the Provari. As far as flavor changes... You definitely want more Protanks. Backups for your backups as we say around here. If you have a few running at once you can change flavors just by switching tanks. Plus if one of them say, breaks, you have a backup. Keep those V2's for backup...

    Reo Mod vs. Mech/Dripper

I kayak fish every week. I use an eGo T Upgrade (ran unregulated) with a Evod. I put it on a lanyard. Depending on the weather it's either tucked in my splash jacket or just hanging on my neck. It's a cheap setup and if I end up in the drink I haven't lost much. At least not in e-cig gear.

    Pyrex glass RDA Drip tank?

Wish I could help. Try asking this in the rebuildables forum. Probably get a better response.

    Burnt taste?

What pg/vg ratio? How many holes? I use 20/80 with 3 holes. I've tried it with 2 holes and got burnt hits, even with doing primer puffs.

What is a good site to get fast shipping Ejuice?

Mount Baker Vapor gets orders out very quick, they have lots of PG/VG ratios to choose from, lots of flavors, and they send you a free 15ml sample if your order is over $15 (you can usually request the flavor too). Since they make it to order many of the juices need some time to steep. I don't...
