    If you have a tiny gap between the coil and the mesh in one or two places, when you dry burn it it will appear to be shorting but it isnt, just move the coil slightly on the mesh with a toothpick, I juice the coil and wick and play with the coil if it needs to be moved a little

    Checking mine a little while ago it showed 4, checked it just now and it showed 3.9 so I guess its the battery voltage, I think he is right :)

    Its strange, Ive used mesh up to 5.5 volts and it worked fine, so I dont know what to suggest that might help.

    There is something wrong here i dont get shorts on my mesh, I roll them, heat to red hot not white hot with a ciggy lighter three times and cool them in water each time, then I light some juice on them a couple of times and they are good to go, and no shorts. If your dry burning a coil at 6...

    Put some PG or Vg on the mesh and light it a couple of times this helps after you oxidise it

    I melted a spring on my GGTB, a piece of the plastic sleeve had worn away on the batt, where the PCB connector runs under the sleeve, right on the top corner it was hard to spot
