Yep Maz as I said I washed my mesh and coil today, the coil is Kanthal A .20/32 AWG , and it can take some abuse,hot water to soften the gunk and a gentle brushing with a soft toothbrush in the direction the coil runs and its as good as new, a dry burn to get rid of the water and its good as...

Months if you clean the mesh and coil with hot water and a toothbrush, :),I have a tank that has had the same mesh and coil in it for about a month, I just wash it when the flavour, vapor drops off

I have 2 SS mesh wicks and they are all I use, when I change coil i swap the mesh and clean it with a toothbrush and its good to go :)

Oxidise it after you roll it and use a ciggy lighter, heat it to red hot if you heat it to white hot it will just fall apart
