Thank you! These are both great mods and each has a place in my life and my home; I actually like that better than finding the One Perfect Mod -- should I find such a thing all the rest would feel redundant. As it is I have an excuse to own both. :D
I have had a lot of good fortune in my life and not the least of it is the discovery, courting, and marriage to my sweetheart. She's done a lot for me, been there for me when times are hard, and celebrated when times are great. Over the past while she's been vaping and collecting mods and having...
Nifty! I was thinking something with a little pommel to rest in your palm, like:
...but then it's not clear how the door works. That's why YOU are the craftsman. :D
Rob, I was going to go through this thread and make sure no one asked before, but 2000 pages of material has me stymied. So instead I'll risk duplicating someone's question and making you answer again: any chance you'll (is it even feasible to) make a mini in wood? I love the feel of wood and it...

So glad you got your package intact! Jack had to buy me a bottle too so I wouldn't get too jealous -- I wound up sharing it with my pals last night along with a nice scotch single and a whole lot of hooting and laughing. Enjoy! Be responsible, of course, but not TOO responsible.
Wanted to...
My experience is that the best way to keep cost down and quality up is to do the bits you're good at yourself and farm out the bits you don't like/aren't good at (these are usually the same thing). This is why a distributor often makes sense -- farming anything out is going to change your cost...
One thing to keep in mind is that these are electrical devices and technically subject to all kinds of standards compliance certification for resale. Maybe not locally, but certainly internationally. If sales ramp up to the point where this becomes more business than hobby, it suddenly acquires...
Jack has some wicked bad luck sometimes, though -- if she trips and falls, like as not it will be on to a nest of running chainsaws or something. Who knew that was there?!
