RJ Reynolds has been lobbying in Vermont for a flavor ban and limiting vaping to nonrefillables. A lot of money in that push and the politicos are grabbing hold.
More how can we help to guide things to a favorable result for all vapers and less I'll be fine was the result I was hoping to provoke with this thread. I've been vaping a long time and there's not much I don't have stored up or can't make if I need it. It's those not here yet that will suffer...
Time we all spent arguing over gear choices and juices when the only choices are BT cigalikes with closed little tank atomizers available in only three flavors and three nic strengths?
They would ban direct sale of liquid nicotine to unlicensed consumers, not tobacco sales. Liquid Nicotine/ juice, would most likely have to have a tax stamp on it like cigarettes do now also.
If the juice tastes good in liquid form it must be eliminated. We are not to be trusted to keep it out of the children's hands! Pay no attention to the cotton candy flavored vodka the antz are drinking while telling us this, they know what's best for us and our money.
Forward this to the FDA so they can begin licensing and registering vapors and use it to intimidate the general public on how dangerous and confusing vaping is.
Smokers make up 20% of the population and are an easy minority for politicians to bleed and provide billions of dollars for the government. We are an even smaller group and a threat to those billions plus vaping has life extending potential. They want us smoking, lining the coffers and dying...
Hard to fight lies with the media so cozy in bed with the antz. Unless the pros come up with large dollars for media campaigns, grassroots will only take us so far.
