A lot of folks have a bad grasp of AMPs, OHMs and Volts here in relation to Watts. At least you'll have a reason to get a new mod sooner than later vaping at .9 on an MVP.
I have 6 mods with various tanks and drippers set up with another tank and rda on standby each with a different flavor in my mod stand. No overkill there.
It's silly to invest in a mod but not the batteries. Get the best batteries you can afford. IMR are the safest and higher amp limits makes them less limited on what you can use them in. AW, Sony, LG, etc all have excellent batteries.
Battery life depends on many things. Frequency of vaping, amp rating/mah, voltage setting, build you are vaping on, etc. if you are using AW IMR 1600 and vape heavy, a full day is pushing it on any device.
