I think OSHA would care if their inspections were being, (incorrectly), used as an endorsement for a company selling Diacetyl containing products for inhalation.
Well, I used to work in the health field and we had "surprise" OSHA inspections at least once per year, (depending if we passed our inspections or not). These inspections weren't voluntary...they were required. OSHA expected certain things to be in place:
- We had MSDS sheets of all chemicals...
This is exactly what we want to know. Thank you for condensing several members concerns Panini. The answer to all of these questions are, (supposedly), already known. The answers should be quite simple and would be greatly appreciated.
Exactly! They already know which of their juices contain Diacetyl and refuse to release the information! That's why I believe this is a marketing ploy. There are a lot of members who are angry at FSUSA for denying their products contain Diacetyl...then downplaying the dangers and finally...
Well, if he finds a way to do true testing I am all for it but "spectro-analysis" isn't going to cut it because it doesn't exist. I would like to see:
- Testing of random batches of juice, (not hand picked and delivered to the lab)
- A neutral outside agency who has no interest in the outcome...
Also, government agencies are being tossed around, (i.e. OSHA), in an attempt to deceive members and "prove" the safety of these juices when that simply isn't the case. These agencies are not going to be happy when they find out. Talk about a setback...FSUSA is going to hurt everyone ...in a...
These results are from GC\MS testing...exactly what Markarich159 said should be used in this type of testing. As noted earlier, there is no such thing as "spectro-analysis" at least when it comes to lab testing. This whole FSUSA thing is highly suspect to say the least.
Thank you Markarich159! Okay...something isn't right here. Wouldn't the lab,(that David is supposedly in contact with), have let him know that spectrum analysis isn't the correct testing procedure? They should have at least given him the correct name of spectral\spectrum analysis and\or its...
I posted this on another thread in your sub-forum David but want to make sure you see my questions.
I am curious...
- What is the name of the lab doing the testing? <---This is a BIGGIE for me!
- When will testing begin?
- Are the samples "blind" samples chosen from random batches?
- Is the...

- Is the lab a third party entity or do they have direct interest in FSUSA, (e.g. paid by FSUSA to do the...
I agree and I hope that his samples are true random samples from normal batches and not hand picked to give to the laboratory. The same goes for other suppliers who, (hopefully), submit samples for testing.
I don't care about the motivation either as long as it's being done, (although the attacks and accusations leave a very bad taste in my mouth). I just hope testing actually gets done with random samples from a lab with the qualifications David stated. Also hope it gets done soon as these types...
Well, I was getting excited but now see he is bashing other suppliers and accusing them of having "plants." I was really hoping he was doing this for the greater good but see it's a personal thing. I definitely AM NOT getting my hopes up until I see the name of the lab and the actual results :(
David from FSUSA has made a post in his sub-forum stating that he is going to have a laboratory start analyzing every fluid used for vaping in this country! That will be quite an expensive task but a great thing for all of us who have been demanding disclosure. I guess we weren't crazy or...
