Best Battery for Provari Mini
They make protected 500's (which shouldn't be used either). Of the 500's I can think of they are typically less mAh with a worse discharge curve than the 490's anyways. I'm a fairly heavy vaper & the red AW 490's last me about 12 hours. I do vape at relatively low power (< 8w) though. -
Is the AW IMR 18650 3.7v 2000mAh the right battery?
Since it's an accurate regulated mod, either will work. Outside of a regulated mod the 2000mAh are kinda garbage. They have a really crappy discharge curve on them... but if you're not using a regulated device there are several better options than either AW in 650 size batteries for both low &... -

If you're pulling less than 10A, check out the Panasonic NCR18650PF's (not the PD's). It's a flat top 650 with a 10A limit... but it has one of the best discharge curves out there. For low power, they beat the crap out of the Sony's. The little plastic tanks have male threads on them & need... -

I made some jigs to do it on a lathe, but that just speeds up the process & makes it difficult to get it uneven. You can do it by hand as well. You just sand it up to 1200 (600 will work, but if you look really, really close you'll see a slight difference) & use a buffing compound to polish... -

It's not that difficult to polish stainless. I polished all 4 of my authentic KFL's to match my Provari & Poldiacs. -

You just need rings on the male threads. If you replace the 3-piece standard tank with a 1-piece clear tank ("M" just stands for Makrolon, the type of plastic that is used... the middle piece in the standard setup is an M-tank as well), you need a ring on the base & the top cap. -

It's not a Provape product. The Twins will let you do that, I think Tatroe makes one & that German company who makes the fancy looking brass cap/ring sets has one as well I believe. ETA: Vaperev Shop - SS Twins Tatroe Ring Provari Steel (the name of that German company escapes me at the moment) -

It was way beyond Malwarebytes. I finally had to do a full wipe & a modified factory restore. That's why it's taking so long with the updates. Should be pretty close though. 20 more need to be installed & I'm guessing it'll find no more than a dozen other ones after that reboot. -
