    They should provide evidence (such as a tracking number) to show that it was in fact shipped. At least that way you know it wasn't a case of they took money and didn't provide any product. As OS said, most places will still take care of the customer.

    From the pictures it looks like you have it on your GGTS when you put it together. If you do, loosen the telescope before putting in the atty, if the battery is already tight (and therefore the pin pushed up) it won't seal properly.

    Legally they can do this, liability can either end when it is provided to the shipping company (at which time you would have to deal with USPS/UPS/etc in the case of a loss) or when it arrives at the buyer. Might not be the best practice, especially for a smaller company, but it is legal...
