Thanks for that info! I just had a funny feeling about these batteries. As I know nothing about electrical/electronic things, I would have thought that a magnet would interfere somehow. So ... will either get on the lookout for some magnets or consider buying a couple of proper nipple topped... -

Hmm ... just want to check something out so that I can still rectify things before my REO arrives if necessary. Do the batteries that you use in the Grand have to have the nipple top to work? I have some 18650's but they are flat top and just got to wondering if this was going to be a problem... -
