The REO Lounge - Part II

Great to see you back online, Cappy! It was getting a little too civilized in here although Jack was holding up his end admirably. :D We should all be so lucky to have siblings like you in our lives. Many well wishes to you and your sister in these trying times. If she has a sense of humor like...

The REO Lounge - Part II

Good morning all. It's Tuesday ... one day closer to Friday! Been trying to catch up but I know I will have missed some important posts. :) Just some quick replies to a few though: Darrell - if we land up getting a dump of snow here yet this winter, I'm personally coming down to Victoria to...

Kay ... the bad boys are on the loose again ... funny as hell, though!

The REO Lounge - Part II

Thanks for all the tips and well wishes on our pooch. I promise I won't regale you all with any more whining of my own. So many people here are dealing with so much more!! Glad to hear from Ed this morning and that he is okay. Have been looking at some of the pictures ... my God! My heartfelt...

The REO Lounge - Part II

Took a look at the incision a few minutes ago. It actually looks pretty good - no weeping at all from where those drops came from last night and not looking red and inflamed. The part that has me worried is that she let out a yipe right before it happened so pretty sure that she ruptured an...

    The Grand

Welcome to Reoville, Ladycats! I am also a newbie to the Grand and felt the same way you do. I got the black crinkle with red door and also didn't expect the 'sparkle' factor. Beautiful piece of work! Now I'm thinking that I must get myself a purple door, too! @ Bushmaster - always great to...

The REO Lounge - Part II

Okay ... so ... now I am totally famished, rumbling tummy and 'breakfast' isn't what it has in mind! Brats, burgers, wings, marinated veggies ... on the grill!! Good God ... I think I can actually smell them cooking!!!

The REO Lounge - Part II

Thanks for that reassurance, Bushmaster! I'm sure she will be okay but it certainly has set her back. Haven't had a chance to look at her incision yet this morning - she is curled up sleeping right now. It certainly put a damper on her 'high spirits/high energy' for the moment but not her...

The REO Lounge - Part II

I needed to post this separately because this is a bit of a rant. Hope you all don't mind but I need to get it off my chest and ... well ... this seemed like the safest place to do it. Our 14 mth old, 65 lb pup got spayed on Thursday. She was doing absolutely fantastic with her recovery. I...

The REO Lounge - Part II

To reiterate what has already been said, Ed ... take 'er easy and get some rest! Sounds like there are a few hard days ahead for a whole lot of folks. :( Especially ugly that so many are without power at this time of year. To all the good men and women out there driving themselves to exhaustion...

    Heathers Heavenly Vapes - Wow!

I'm going to have to overcome my reluctance to buy juice from the other side of the border due to my paranoia that they will get stopped at customs and break down and get some of that Boba's Bounty I keep hearing about and now HV juices. One of our vendors up here stocks Halo juice and have been...

The REO Lounge - Part II

@ Justice and Rhapsodies ... the way I look at it is that the snow is easy enough for us to get to IF we want to. :D Well for Justice and I anyway ... I don't know how close you are to the nearest ski hills, Rhapsody. Mount Washington is an easy 1/2 hr drive from me and all the snow I could...

House Mouse - that's absolutely fantastic! Man, I would be stoked as well. What a great opportunity to show-and-tell to open minded people who really WANT to know! Way to go!!

First time Reo owner...what should I expect? Any tips or advise?

I didn't know that about the cap and bottle. Sometimes I have problems with the juice flow as well ... will have to play around with how hard I screw the bottle in and find out what works best for me. Thanks for that tip!

    In the storm's path

Glad you have that generator. They are indispensable when you need them! I'm afraid many more will be wishing for the same before this thing runs it's course and the power is back on everywhere.

Better think about it before you get REO

Yep - wish I had half of what I've spent on all the other 'latest and greatest' ... could have at least another couple of REO's in my arsenal by now. Ah well ... better late than never, right? Hey!!! I just noticed that I am 'verified' now!!!! Whoo whoo!!

The REO Lounge - Part II

@ Karen - I'm going to have to copy/paste and print that list off so I can remember people now! But at least I have something to go on without calling people by their wrong names (like I would ever do that, right, Kay? ;)) It's pretty obvious nothing ever gets Jack down for long! Or anyone else...

TOOOO funny! Well written! I know how distressed you are feeling right now. I'm in the same boat.
