    whats the difference

The diameter of the Xhaler is smaller than the diameter of the Chuck, so the 18650 batteries are too 'fat' to fit, where they fit perfectly in a Chuck. Same with 16340 vs 18350 at 3.7v - 18350 is bigger in diameter so it will fit in a Little Chuck, where the 16340 will fit in either.

Thag Built unresponsive for three weeks?

Oh no! The carrier pigeon 'bit the dust' in the ice storm! :grr: Did your sister get her power back yet?

Jeff doesn't always put a picture on the thagbuilt site. Some people have pulled a lot of the pr0n from the Saturday thread and posted it into a pr0n thread now that Jeff has his own forum. So that's another good place to look to get ideas. My latest Chuck in fact is a 'copy' of a design Jeff...

    How to spend a Saturday

In the meantime, my Atomic Fireball rocks at 6v with my 510 HV atomizer! I had misplaced my bottle of the AFB juice (that is, it rolled onto the floor under my desk into the awful mess under there), but I just found it. (PUFF...PUFF...PUFF)

Thag Built unresponsive for three weeks?

I'm in the same boat waiting for the adapters I ordered with my Chuck in December. The Chuck shipped to me 12/24 and I got it 12/26. Jeff posted a message #11657 quoting a notification that his order left Shanghai on 12/17 - I've been assuming they're still snarled up in the holiday shipping...

    How to spend a Saturday

I use the method in the video, then use the 'spinning' or 'twirling' method described above to get the juice to the bottom of the cart, then add another 10 drops as shown in the video, spin or twirl again. So it's a combination thing. Taryn may be starting by using a syringe to get her first...

    How to spend a Saturday

I can get at least 4 hours out of my refilled ones.

    whats the difference

Other differences between the Chuck and the Xhaler: Chuck body is copper, Xhaler is aluminum. Chuck is heavier in weight - in my opinion, it seems more 'solid', but I can see other people seeing the the lighter weight of the Xhaler as an advantage. Placement of button - Chuck: near the 'top'...

    How to spend a Saturday

I'm waiting for adapters coming from HG. You can get a pair of 510-801 and 901 adapters with your Chuck order ($5 with Chuck order, $6 without Chuck order) from Thagbuilt. Jeff's 510-901 adapter will allow you to use KR8088d cartomizers without requiring any other adapter. I am reasonably...

    How to spend a Saturday

I just got back from the Post Office picking up a package from EastMall, a China supplier, and a stop at Lowes to buy something to try to organize all these various parts I have - attomizers for 801, 901 and 510, HV versions of same, Kartomizers, empty kartomizers, refilled kartomizers (when I...

    NON-Melting Vaporizer Exist?

In theory, a vaporizer is a device to turn something from solid or liquid into gas/steam, and what makes it personal is a method for delivering that gas/steam to someone's respiratory system. E-cigs as they exist today use heat to generate the vapor, which is then inhaled into someone's mouth...

    Questions about Chuck

Since you're asking the question in the Thag Built / The Chuck forum, don't be at all surprised if everyone here answers 'YES!" Anyone on the ECF, though, could vote in the recent VAPY awards, and The Chuck was the winner in both the 3.7v and 6v Best Commercial Mod category. My personal answer...

    How to spend a Saturday

I keep forgetting that vaping is still pretty new! When I first started looking at this forum, there was a stickly with photos of lots of different models of e-cigs posted by some person named Elendil, and lots of other threads referred to it or linked to it. So I assumed Elendil had been...

    Please clarify lil Chuck voltage

Well, I was a newbie not that long ago. I found this forum almost immediately when I heard about e-cigs, and there were a LOT of very long threads that were outstanding in helping me understand enough about what vaping was about that I was able to decide which e-cig sounded like it would best...

Congratulations on your new subforum !

Congrats! I saw the announcement a few months ago that the list of 'approved suppliers' was closed, so I know there were suppliers waiting to get on 'the list'. I'm glad ECF has re-opened the list, dropping dormant suppliers and moving some of you up from the waiting list. Now I'll know where...

    How to spend a Saturday

Off to open up the work laptop and finish some transactions that need to hit the accounting books before midnight (list the world as we know it should end, I'm told) - I hope to be back very soon! Happy New Year!

Where Can I Get A......? where to get cartomizers for 901?

It's my understanding that any KR8088D1 cartomizer will be able to screw onto a battery with a 901 thread, whether the 'native' connector of the battery is a 901 itself or you attach an adapter to go from <native> to 901. That said, you may or may not be able to vape, depending on whether you...
