    29 switch does fit the 19. That's what I was told by one of the vendors. It's recessed also. I prefer the 8w switch.

    I cut of about 1 1/2 loop from the spring and torched it.

    Adjusted the throw to something like 1mm and softened the spring, my go to these days.

    Just received the 8W switch and I think it's what the 19 should've shipped with. It's smaller and looks fantastic on it. Now, time to refinish it :)

    The bottom cap is also 510 threaded ;) Two adapters from a POS mod.

    Inspired by pastubbs, I made my own hybrid adapter from a POS sigelei #13 top cap. It's brass, so it was easier than trying to do this with SS. I left a little lip and it looks like a nice accent ring. It will look bad ... with a 23 mm atty.

    Has anyone found a solution for the sharp edges on the button. I'm thinking if brass screw can be modded to replace it.

    I've removed the magnet from the firing pin and filled it with silver solder. I doubt it improves the overall conductivity but the at least the pin won't be causing any voltage loss.

    Yea, the post is glued into the button base, in the newer ones. PITA to get it out. Slot the magnet and use a screw driver. I also heated the button from the base, hoping it would loosen up the glue.

    nothing scientific but all brass does seem to perform slightly better but all three configurations look and perform really well. I did it mainly for cosmetic reasons :)

    the first i tried was to slot the magnet and try to unscrew it. the magnet broke apart but the damn post didn't budge.
