Nic absorption in VG vs PG?

Hmm. Maybe since VG produces more vapor, it can carry a higher volume of nicotine per puff or something like that.

Nic absorption in VG vs PG?

I've mainly used PG liquid since I started vaping. For about a year now, I've been mixing an 11mg with a 0mg to get around 8mg. That works well for me and I'm used to it, but I never feel a hit of nicotine. I know I get it because I feel more alert/awake/clear/better/satisfied, but there's no...

Looking for Blucig style blank cartos

I have been on a quest for cartomizers for a while and I finally found one I like: Blucigs. The only problem is that they don't sell blanks and the prefilled flavors are all VG based. I really don't like the VG liquid, so I'd like to find some blanks of these same kind of cartos. I heard...

How much do you spend on vaping?

I think atomizers, batteries and liquid are all a bit overpriced, but the $60 or so I average per month on vaping supplies is still a lot better than the $60 or so per week I was spending on cigarettes two years ago.

    Is steeping an urban legend?

I mainly vape Johnson Creek vanilla and by the time I get about halfway through a bottle, the color is darker and the flavor is richer.

When you first started vaping did you think you needed a PV that looked like a cigarette?

I've got a couple ego batteries I use some of the time, but I still mostly use the normal "analog" style PVs. The size/weight/shape is just more comfortable for me.

    Question for the women vapers!

This has been true for me as well (hormones going haywire). I feel like quitting smoking threw me into peri-menopause. My PMS symptoms (physical and emotional) started getting much worse and my periods started getting heavier and closer together. It could just be coincidence, of course (I'm in...

No coughing yet - it's been 3 weeks now

Wow. I'm honestly surprised that two puffs on a cigarette made you cough the next morning. Maybe all that stuff we hear about how bad cigarettes are is true, eh? ;) It's not vaping that prevents people from getting the quitters cough — many who vape experience coughing in the weeks after they...

    My duodenum is acting up!

It's possible that your stomach is reacting to a specific flavoring or the nicotine level you're using is simply too high for you, but I think it's more likely that your stomach issues are the result of quitting smoking. I noticed a dramatic increase in my acid reflux problems for a few months...

No coughing yet - it's been 3 weeks now

It's been over a year and a half since I quit smoking and I never got the cough. I smoked for over 20 years and was smoking upwards of 2 packs a day by the time I quit. I asked my doctor about it a few months after I'd quit and he told me not everyone gets the cough — just depends on your lungs...

Coffee drinkers: Do you drink more or less now

When I first quit smoking, I started drinking a lot more coffee. It's like I was immune to the caffeine for a few weeks! After that, I went the other way and seemed to almost lose my taste for it. But I eventually leveled off at what I'd always drank — about 3 cups a day.

    Carrying Case suggestions

I use a little digital camera case that I bought at Marshall's for like $3.99. When I head out for the day, I generally carry 5 regular 510 batteries, 1 eGo battery, a spare atty, a spare cartridge, a drip tip and 2 5ml bottles of liquid. It's more than I need, of course, but so was the pack or...

I cant put the PV down when I use 0 nic

Absolutely. Mix to your heart's content! My standard vaping mixture combines Johnson Creek vanilla (PG) 11mg & 0mg and Ecopure Regular (VG) 10mg & 0mg. I fill up a little 5ml bottle about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way with the JC vanilla 0mg, then fill the rest of the way with the JC vanilla 11mg. I top...

    510 Attys lasting MONTHS

It's so frustrating to me when I hear about people getting months of use out an atomizer! I think the longest I ever had one working well was 3 weeks, but I usually don't get more than 1-2 weeks from one. It's not that they die (aside from an occasion bad one that dies in a couple days), it's...

    Anyone stepping down the nicotine?

Yeah, the 8 or 9mg I use isn't much, so it's not a big deal if I stick with this level. It's enough to keep me happy but low enough that I don't crave when I can't vape for an hour or two. I think a snail's pace is the best way to go anyway. Everyone's different in how nicotine affects them, but...

    Anyone stepping down the nicotine?

I started at 18mg and quickly had to up to 24mgs for a few weeks to get through the worst of the quitting smoking phase. After that, it was relatively easy to drop to 18mg then to 11mg over the course of a couple months. I would occasionally give myself a boost with the higher mg when I was...

No throat on new atty is my juice bad

Atomizers do tend to need a break-in period. I always find the vapor has a lighter feel to it for the first day or two (and often doesn't taste as good). After that, I get a more satisfying vapor. If it's been more than a couple days and you're still getting a lot of vapor but not getting a...

Nicotine Vaccine Would You Get The Shot ( if Proven Safe) to Stop Vaping?

That was my thought too. All that vaccine would do is give you the effect of nicotine withdrawal while you used nicotine. I don't see the point. I could vape 0mg if I didn't want any nicotine.
