I never went through the coughing-stuff-up phase after quitting cigarettes either. My doctor said that's not necessarily a bad thing. He said I probably just didn't have a build-up that needed clearing out. I smoked 1-2 packs a day for 20 years, but they were ultra lights and I really didn't...
That was an outstanding article — truly unbiased. it's nice when a writer actually researches a topic instead of just regurgitating the same slanted crap everyone else writes.
Hey, thanks for the tip! I've never had any luck stealth vaping because I always seem to have vapor no matter how long it hold it in. But I just tried your advice — holding it in a few seconds, then inhaling through my nose before exhaling. That totally did the trick. No visible vapor.

I consider myself a non-smoker. Vaping looks like smoking and feels similar to it, but it's... not. I look at it this way: what would someone who is on the patch or using the gum or the lozenges check on a medical form? Non-smoker. They're not smoking and neither are we. So when I recently had a...
Indeed. The only time I've strayed from cignot is when I wanted to try some 510 cartomizers. Other than that, I've been buying hardware (and some liquids) from them for a few months now and am always very satisfied. Not only are they fast and friendly and have good prices, but they won't abandon...
I always blow out my atties because the primer fluid tastes icky to me and often times there's way too much of it in the atomizer. I don't go crazy getting every last bit of primer fluid out, but I try to get most of it out. Then I put a couple drops of flavored e-liquid in there, blow once more...
I think that study is wrongly equating sucking with inhaling. I don't direct-inhale and I get the impression around here that few people do. I call it "inhaling", but really, I'm sucking vapor into my mouth, then inhaling it. So no matter how hard I suck on my ecig, it doesn't affect the actual...
I've been vaping for almost 10 months and my blood pressure has remained basically the same as when I was a smoker. A recent doctor visit showed me at 110/74, which is right about what it's always been and totally in the normal range.
That 36mg could be a factor, I guess. I vape 10-11mg.
Great poll. I've wondered about this nicotine buzz thing too because aside from the light-headed "buzz" feeling I got for a few minutes when I first started smoking (and maybe a little after going for a few hours without a cigarette after I'd been a smoker for a while), I never got a buzz as a...
I truly never expected to quit smoking with it. I got an ecig hoping it would work better than the lozenges for helping me cut back or to use when I couldn't (or didn't want to) go outside. I was so skeptical about the the ecig actually getting me off cigarettes that I had it for a few months...
There are some fun stories in here. It would be cool to see someone else using an ecig. In almost 10 months of vaping, I've yet to encounter another vapor!
Being a smoker means you inhale and exhale tobacco that is burning — you inhale and exhale smoke. Vaping looks similar because we're inhaling and exhaling something visible, but it's not smoke. I am no longer a smoker and neither is anyone else who only vapes.
Are we still nicotine addicts...
I've never smoked a pipe, but the way you described how you inhale with an ecig is the same way I usually do it. I think an ecig works best with a long slow drag like that and I haven't had any problems with getting to much nicotine into my system. You can tell if you overdue it a little and...
