    I put new filler in my cart about once a week so I always take that opportunity to wash the cart. I agree with what many other posters said — the white stuff the OP saw was just the glue used to hold in the original filler material.

    510 flat tip cartridges

    The flat tips I have are all pre-filled 901 carts from Heaven Gifts that I held onto for reuse. They had been fine on my 901, but when I first started using them on my 510 they were very tight. After about a day or so of use, though, they got to be a perfect fit.
