HELP _ why is my 510 tasting SO NASTY

Before I use a new atty, I blow it out, put a couple drops of e-liquid on there and vape several times without inhaling it. After that I put a few more drops on and vape as usual, but I find it still has a slightly metallic taste for about a day until it's broken in. I just keep putting drops...

Are there any Deadheads out here?

I was a deadhead in the mid 80s until maybe 1990-ish? I saw them around 20 times I think. Back then, I could've told you exactly how many shows and where and when they all were and what sets they played, but it's all a bit hazy now. One thing about having been a deadhead is there's still...

510 batteries dying after a few weeks?

So either I've randomly got some defective batteries or a bad charger or two or... is it possible this is because I didn't charge them for eight hours prior to the first use? I've heard some people say you need to do that, some people say you don't need to. I think I did it with some of mine...

    Spontaneous drop in nicotine need

Years ago, I got out of the habit of lighting up the a smoke the minute I got out of bed, so I never reach for my e-cig immediately either. But generally, I'm feeling a bit hurried to get to the point that I'm sitting down with my coffee and ready to vape, just as I always was with smoking...

    Spontaneous drop in nicotine need

So this is odd. I woke up yesterday feeling just as groggy as I always am when I wake up. I fed my cats, I made my coffee and then I started surfing the web. A few minutes later I remembered my e-cig. Oh yeah... nicotine! I just didn't feel that urge for it. Of course, once I thought about it...

510 batteries dying after a few weeks?

A single bad charger damaging batteries is something I was wondering about. Of the four chargers I have, one of them has been flaky since day one. Maybe it's messing up the batteries one by one. Anyone know how to test a charger to see if it's functioning properly?

510 batteries dying after a few weeks?

I got my fist 510 kit (w/two batteries), um, 6-8 weeks ago? Something like that. Anyway, I've since bought a couple more kits so I've got a total of 8 batteries (all manual). I don't know which is which since I rotate all the batteries, but two of them now seem to be dead (dead as in won't...

    jagged edges on 510 carts?

Mine too. I think it happens if I don't line up the cart properly with the atty bridge because the jagged spots seem to be perpendicular to the way I normally line up the cart.

It ain't workin for me :(

I think he meant he's direct dripping, using no cartridge (not no nicotine). Rogue, you're really not going to find a flavor that's similar to the taste of smoke. That can be a tough hurdle initially, but if you can find a flavor you like (whether it's a tobacco-ish flavor or something entirely...

New 901 atomizer design always tastes burnt

I'm a 510 user now, but before I'd switched, my last batch of 901 atties was this newer style with the thinner, lower bridge and the metal "washer" in them. At first I didn't like them as much, but after a few uses, I found they actually worked better (and seemed to last longer). The only real...

    "It smells really good"

Yeah, I know some people have a hyper-sensitivity to fragrances, but Kattdaddy was worried that his wife was having a reaction to his exhaled nicotine. I think it's much more likely she reacting to the smell.

    "It smells really good"

I was vaping french vanilla, which is pretty much all I use. I never smell it myself, but my husband says he can smell it for a few seconds when I'm vaping right next to him. And I guess other people can too, especially in the car. But I thought it was cool that they liked it. I don't have...

E-Cigs are really looked down upon by recent quitters.

I haven't been following this thread very closely, but I just totally LOL'd at this post... Someone at a party the other night saw me vaping and asked about my e-cig. The way I started talking about it and demonstrating how it worked, you'd have thought I was a spokesperson for these things...

    I lost my novelty....

Interesting that you mention sinuses because I have a lot of sinus problems and the days where I find myself chain vaping (and not feeling very satisfied) are the days when my sinuses are most clogged (like today). The same thing used to happen to me with analogs too — days when my sinuses were...

Shopping Mall - Restaurant - Movies

I remember smoking on an Amtrak train in the designated smoking car (people scrambled to get a seat in there before it filled up!), but by the time I ever flew anywhere, flights were all non-smoking. Now I vape, though, so I don't care :) When it comes to public places, like the mall and...

    "It smells really good"

Over the holidays, I was staying with some extended family that I hadn't seen for a while. But word had spread in advance that I'd quit smoking and was using an e-cig. There was some minor curiosity when they saw it initially, but otherwise no one really said anything about it. On an outing...

First Atty Back From the Dead

Awesome tip! I frequently blow through the bottom and side holes of the atty, but I've never tried poking them before. So I tried it. I didn't even do the bottom hole, I just used a paperclip to poke the side holes and HUZZAH! Vapor production is back up and it seems like a new atomizer. I'm so...

    Travel and Vaping PETN explosive

The three seconds of thin vapor someone might see from an e-cig could not possibly be mistaken for smoke from a fire. I think e-cigs are of the least concern among the electronic devices airlines allow on board.
