It's amazing the difference a fresh atomizer can make

So I'm vaping like crazy all day on my 901 but feeling terrible (which I think is why I kept vaping more — it just wasn't satisfying me). Tonight I tried switching flavors and that didn't help. Then I thought maybe I'd vaped too much and if I laid off it for an hour or so I'd feel better. Nope...

    DSE-901 Automatic vs Manual ?

That's why I like the manuals too. I think you get a better hit with less effort.

    Johnson Creek questions

Yeah, I think the sample bottles are 3ml. They're handy little bottles to have, too. I started out getting the sampler pack and now I'm a big fan of JC smoke juice. Flavor is subjective of course, but my favorites are French Vanilla, Black Cherry, JC Original, and Espresso. And I prefer their...

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

That makes perfect sense. Thank you. I was always under the impression that the stated nicotine levels in cigarettes were how much you get from them, not how much are in them at the start.

    My kitty likes it

Oh, I didn't know that about PG and cats! 8-o I'm glad I read this. My kitties have been very intrigued about my e-cig, but I've never blown the vapor at them. Now I know I should actually be making it a point to blow it away from them. My biggest concern until now has been keeping my e-cig...

    Questions about e-juice

I'm not familiar with that particular e-cig, but I have a DSE901 and I occasionally get liquid on my tongue that's come through the mouth piece. I finally realized it's not straight e-liquid, it's vapor condensation. I'm not sure that makes it any better, but I've never had any issues because of...

    The Throat Hit Thread

I definitely think flavor can be a factor. Case in point: My current favorite flavors are vanilla and black cherry (I have them both in 18mg PG formula from Johnson Creek). The vanilla is very mild and I don't find it gives me much throat hit. The black cherry flavor, on the other hand, has a...

Strongly advise trying flat tipped cartridges

I use a 901, but I'm with you. I find the round ones very uncomfortable since, unlike analog filter, they're hard and feel awkward. I don't even particularly like those in-between style whistle tip carts; I like the flat ones.

    Just ordered and Vaping Soon

Urban Dictionary has "vaping" listed, so that's something ;) Good luck!

    Nicotine and nerve pain

Not from damaged nerves, no, but the trigeminal nerve is involved. And by the way, just having pain along one nerve branch has been miserable enough, so I can't even begin to imagine how agonizing your situation was. Given the choice between that and smoking, the health problems associated with...

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

Any theory on why people seem to require about 2.5x the amount of nicotine from vaping than we used to require from smoking? I'm finding it's true of me too and I'm curious about that. I used to smoke 40 ultra lights per day (.4mg each) giving me about 16mg nicotine. Now I'm vaping about 2ml or...

Gross, but I have to ask

It's been just about 3 weeks since I quit smoking and the only coughing I did was in the first 4-5 days. Oddly, the nasty stuff wasn't coughed up from my lungs, it was coughed down from my sinuses. It was as if I had the worst sinus infection of my life and it was clearing out rapidly. I was...

    Nicotine and nerve pain

I don't use nicotine for the treatment of pain, but I've been experiencing some bad TMJ pain since I quit analogs and vaping hasn't helped (unless maybe it would've been worse without vaping?). Anyway, just throwing that out there.

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

What works for one person obviously doesn't work for everyone. I know I was very frustrated when I'd read post after post about people saying they quit smoking the day they got their e-cig and never had any problems. For me, it wasn't anywhere near that simple. I felt horrible and I had...

    Dizziness/Spaceyness/Foggy-Headedness

What you're describing sounds like sinus/inner ear issues, which could be related to vaping or simply to quitting analogs. I've had sinus issues for many years that have included random episodes of feeling off-balance and/or like the world suddenly tilts sideways on me. As soon as I quit...

    E-Cig Success Rate?

The 80%+ number here is incredibly impressive, but I guess to get a true comparison to traditional NRTs we'd need to know what percentage of people are still off analogs after a year. I know it's only been a few weeks since I quit, but I feel very confident that a year from now I'll still be...

So - are we getting it or are we not - nicotine

I'd calculated my analogs as providing me with 16mg of nicotine per day (40 Marlboro Ultra Lights that are presumably .4mg each), yet I still went through withdrawal when I quit, despite using an 18mg e-liquid. Somewhere around the 5th day, I added a couple drops of 24mg to my cart and it made a...

Where Should I Buy From? POST YOUR FAVORITE SOTRE PLEASE!!!

For parts, I buy from Health Cabin or Heaven Gifts and for e-liquid, I buy from Johnson Creek. So far so good with all of those vendors.
