    Need advice and a push.....

When I quit smoking, it wasn't a planned thing. I had a bad cold and I was miserable (and smoking, of course) and I had an ecig that I'd been sort of playing around with for a few months. So one evening, while coughing and blowing my nose, I thought, what the heck, why don't I just give the ecig...

    Travel and Vaping Atlanta/Baltimore Airports

I just got back from Atlanta and a TSA agent there had apparently never seen eGo batteries before. I got held up as she dumped every single thing out of my backpack to find what she told me after the fact she thought were bullets. How an eGo battery can be mistaken for a bullet, I have no idea...

Travel and Vaping Vaping on an Air Plane.

I use nic lozenges when I fly, but also usually grab a couple puffs off my ecig in the bathroom at some point during the flight (on a longer flight, I go a few times). I'm a nervous flyer and it helps me keep my nerves in check. I use PG juice in a small device so it produces light vapor. I also...

Battery not always making a connection when placed into the PCC

When you put the eRoll into the PCC, do you lay it flat and press it in or do you put it in contacts-ends first and then push the other end in? Just asking because I can imagine the problem might happen a lot more if you try popping the eRoll in flat instead of contacts first.

    Effects of second hand vapor

If you've got a significant other that's bothered by the vapor, maybe try a different brand/flavor of juice or an ecig that produces less vapor. I mainly use PG liquid in the eRoll and a Joye 510, so my vapor is pretty light and wispy. I've never had anyone tell me it bothered them. In fact, I...

Quit cigs 3 months ago, is my system still adjusting?

It took me a good 6 months or so to really start to feel like I was getting over the hump of quitting smoking. Some things improve rapidly (I could breath better, no more smoker's cough, not having to clear my throat), but I had an overall fatigue and mental fogginess that hung around for...

Sinus problems worse since giving up smoking

As a long term sinus sufferer, I'd hoped my sinuses would improve when I quit smoking, but that didn't happen. For a few months, they got much worse (more pressure, more congestion) before eventually settling back into the same level of misery they'd always caused me. Since I'm approaching four...

    Wishlist for an eRoll 2

I think I'd prefer a manual battery for the simple reason that it would prevent so much condensation build up. With an auto battery, there's always vapor left behind because if you keep drawing, you keep making more vapor. With a manual battery, you could let go of the button and draw that...

Battery not always making a connection when placed into the PCC

I've had it happen on occasion too, but nothing more than that. I just pull out the eRoll and reseat it in the PCC and then it's fine. Maybe the contacts in your PCC were installed crooked or something?

    Are they discontinuing th eroll?

Eek. That sounds like your PCC has a defective battery. Yeah, return that if you can and get another one. I'd be surprised and disappointed if they did. The eRoll is great! There's certainly room for improvement, though. I'm hoping they'll just tweak the design a bit to solve leaks.

Leaky eRoll? Your tank may be the culprit

I made a little image to show what I was trying to describe in my previous post. Basically, those airflow holes had a thin layer of plastic obstructing them. I didn't carve away anything from the actual shape or structure of the tank, I only carved away a thin skin of plastic that wasn't...

Leaky eRoll? Your tank may be the culprit

I put some new tanks on my eRolls last week and then started having nonstop leaks. I've been losing my mind trying to figure out the problem, but tonight, I think I've got it. First, I'll list the trouble I was having so people with leaks can see if their symptoms are the same: - hard draw -...

    Is my eRoll defective?

I meant to mention in my previous post that after I got that PCC charged up without an eRoll in it, I've not have any trouble charging it again with an eRoll. Maybe some of them simply have ZERO charge when they arrive and that's why they can't charge with an eRoll in them, whereas when you run...

    Is my eRoll defective?

The first time you charge up the PCC, do it without an eRoll in it. Within like 6 hours (longer if you use a USB port rather than a wall outlet), you should see the red light turn to green, indicating it's fully charged. Then you can charge an eRoll in it. I don't think the instructions...

Thanks for the heads' up, patkin! I'll be sure to cap off the tanks en route.

Uh oh. I have a flight coming up soon. Should I anticipate leakage on the plane?

Cleaning the eRoll: atomizers, carts and batts

Thanks for sharing all that, misterholidayhouse! I've experimented a bit with making an ss mesh wick and, like your previous attempt, found the flavor just wasn't coming through well. I'm going to have to try your most recent version and see if it works for me.

Has anyone solved the heat issue?

I hold it just below the air hole (I do have small hands, so it's no problem for me). The only time I even notice the cone's heat is if I slip the eroll into my pocket after vaping. I'll probably appreciate that warmth during the winter months

Insurance question: are we smokers or not?

Insurance companies usually test for cotinine, which is a nicotine metabollite. If you use any nicotine products, you'll test positive and get a smoker rate. If you plan to ween off nicotine and want to be able to figure out when you're clear of cotinine, you can buy test kits to use at home...

Insurance question: are we smokers or not?

When it comes to life insurance, Allstate is not your friend. They consider you a "smoker" if you use any form of nicotine.
