    Breaking Bad

My husband and I just started watching Breaking Bad a few months ago. We marathoned the first 3 seasons so we were all caught up before season 4 started. OMG SO GOOD. This show is amazing. It's been agony watching the current season live and having to wait a week in between episodes! By the...

    Citric Acid

Hey, don't water-board yourself  Drinking extra water does help, but it won't get rid of all the dryness and/or throat irritation you might experience early on. For some people, it's smooth sailing from the first vape; for others it takes a few weeks to adjust. I was one of the latter...

    Citric Acid

Hey, I'm a vaper of almost two years and I recently got some Blu cartomizers, so I'm not going to make fun of you ;) Just so you know, glycerin is VG (VG = vegetable glycerin) and USP just means it's pharmaceutical grade (USP = United States Pharmacopeia). All I know about citric acid is that...

    Sticky Mucous

I went digging to find this thread again because I wanted to post an update: For a few months, I was having chronic problems with very thick whitish mucus and I realized the other day that it had been quite a while since I'd experienced it. The problem basically just went away on its own. I'm...

Denial of Employment for Nicotine use moves beyond the health industry in Atlanta

A disturbing trend, indeed, and a good reason to sever the link between healthcare and employment. It's only a matter of time before half the country ends up unemployable because of health screening... cholesterol, weight, blood pressure, etc.

Travel and Vaping Vape-friendly hotel: The Clarendon in Phoenix

Happened across this article today, so I thought I'd share. This hotel is actually going to start selling ecigs so people who might otherwise sneak a smoke in their room (or light up a cigarette by the pool or at the bar) can vape instead: The Clarendon Hotel in Phoenix Will Sell E-Cigarettes...

    Cleaning atomizers? Never works!

I've always had the same problem as the OP, going through atties very quickly and I've never found a cleaning method that got me more than maybe another day or two of use. I'm sure my problem is that the brand of nic liquid I use gums up the wick. So if I pull out the bridge to try and clean the...

Vaping while having a sore throat?

I've vaped through every sore throat, cold or random viral infection I've had and it didn't cause me any problems. When you're at the worst part of a cold and all dried out from medicine anyway, I don't think you'd even notice if the vapor dried you out a tiny bit more. A little of topic...

    Tobacco and the Body

I've read that it takes like 4 days for nicotine to clear out of your body, but I don't know how long it takes to get all the other chemicals in cigarettes out of the body. Physically, the roughest part for me was the first 2-4 months. After that, I experienced a lot of mental misery for many...

For the past 3 months, my attys stops working right after 1 or 2 days

I've always been cursed with short-lived atties, but that short life cycle used to be about 7-10 days. They wouldn't die on me, they'd just clog up to the point that they became useless (and various cleaning methods I've tried have helped very little). The Johnson Creek liquid I use must be the...

Coincidence or e-cig related side effect?

Yeah, it's the ecig. It can be very drying when you first start using it. Drinking more water every day will help (extra water helps with the cigarette detoxing too), but it also just gets better after the first couple weeks. I think our bodies adjust to it.

Travel and Vaping Vaping at DragonCon

I'm sorry I didn't see your post until now... I was at Dragon*Con! And I used my ecig everywhere, I just did it inconspicuously. The only time I really vaped normally was outside, in bathrooms and in my hotel room. I kept hoping that I'd find more vapers but I never did (aside from Carrie...

    Travel and Vaping Airport security

No, that shouldn't be a problem. On my recent trip, I carried on several 5ml bottles plus a 10ml bottle, a couple atties, a couple cartos, about 12 510-batteries and 3 single-batt chargers and I had no trouble going through security either way.

Travel and Vaping Stealth vaping on planes

I just got back from a trip and I stealth vaped on the plane. On the flight out, it was daytime (harder to be inconspicuous), so I mostly relied on snus. I'm a nervous traveler, though, so I still grabbed a couple quick puffs at the seat and hit the bathroom once for a short vape session. My...

    volcano cartomizers on blu batteries?

UPDATE: Turns out I got some defective ones! After reading over and over again that Volcano cartos will work on a 510, I decided to try a different carto from the box. It DID fit. So I went through all 25 of the Volcano cartos I just got and found that 5 of them were defective with the extra...

    volcano cartomizers on blu batteries?

Stop the presses! Volcano cartomizers are NOT compatible with Blu nor are they 510 threaded. Blu cartos do work fine on a 510 battery, but I just got some Volcano cartos today and the threaded end of those have a smaller diameter. I'm bummed.

    Joint pain?

When I first quit smoking/started vaping, the joint pain was unbelievable for a few weeks —.all over, pretty much every joint in my body was hurting. It was just one of the many lovely symptoms of quitting smoking, though, because it went away. The only joint pain I ever attribute to vaping now...
