All I have to say is that the OP is a total d-bag!! ;)
Hope I hit the mark on that one, if not I am blaming the rum and cokes!! Let the weekend begin!
Thank you, I just need to follow it all now and see where it goes. If it turns out to be just a couple of bad tanks, I'll let it be. Thanks for chiming in with your tips too. Much appreciated!
How high do you fill it in relation to the tabs that are on the atomizer end? I am thinking that it's okay to fill a little past the tabs, but stop before the removable cap piece at the end that goes into the atomizer (at least I think it's a removable piece).
Oh, I get what you're saying. I've had that too and don't know the solution yet.... I've taken to just switching to a new tank and cleaning the messy one later (I stick it in a zip lock baggie)... but that means carrying around more tanks.
Not that I am any expert (clearly) -- but I have seen people refer to flicking the cone to get the air bubbles displaced from the atty. I have tired this and it seems to work. If you hold the eRoll battery side down and flick the cone a few times you can see bubbles rise to the top (if the tank...
Thank you, today I just started marking the tank whenever I get leaking. Trying to systematically rule out the problem pieces. I could also try marking the batts/atties.... So far I have noticed that the initial set of tanks have some that are really loose! Like if I try the twisting technique...
P.S. -- If you do decide to get the SmartVapes 510 atomizers, make sure that you turn your voltage all the way down before you use the atomizer or it will be way too much power. You'll get a harsh hit otherwise.
My Twists are often around 4.0 and that is wayyy too much for the low resistance...
I have Twists too, and have recently starting dripping. My absolute favorite so far has been the two 510 dripping atomizers that I got from SmartVapes. They were really affordable (about $5.00 each). They're designed especially for dripping and are sealed, low resistance ohms.
I have seen...
Nice tips, daisyd! Thank you. I have been refilling tanks before they were completely empty and purposely avoiding any dry hits. I was thinking that I would damage the atties by dry hitting. But what you're saying makes sense, I could see how a few short puffs would help burn off residue left on...
Yeah, it did occur to me last night that maybe I need to leave a tad more room at the top when refilling. My theory now is that I got at least a couple bad tanks(??) and/or I am overfilling. That and maybe I should be pressing the tanks in more firmly and doing more of a twist when putting the...
On the Ovale site (the USA manufacturer of the eMini, aka eRoll) an Ovale employee states that it's okay to use the LR atomizers.
Take a look at the first comment within the reviews and you'll see the Ovale response to a user asking if they can use the LR with the eMini:
Low Resistance Atomizer...
That's so funny! I do the exact same thing. Went grocery shopping last night and bought a tin of mints that I didn't really want just because it looked like a good container for my paraphernalia!
Thanks for the tip. I don't have any 60/40 juices, but this just might give me an excuse to buy some! ;)
Now that I think about it, I do have one 5ml sample that is 100% VG. I should try that as an experiment.
Thanks so much. Did you find that it was better to use juices that were a little bit thicker? Like a 60/40 mix? Or was it just more of hit and miss experimentation until you found ones that worked?
Thank you!! Appreciate the feedback and encouragement. I do love the eRoll, and I know once this is resolved it's going to be one of my favorite things. It's a fantastic vape and a sweet little eCig. Not giving up yet, and this string has given me a few things to think about... :)
Off to bed...
Just realized that I missed this question...
I fill from the end that meets with the battery, not the mouthpiece end. I use a needle tip bottle so that I am not removing the bottom cap...
I am starting to suspect that possibly only a handful (maybe 3 of the original 8) of these tanks are bad...
