JoAnnw is right about XP set folders on share. On Windows 7 go to c/ users right click on your user name. Propertys and in security tab
hit the advance tab and give youself full controll. This is one of the steps.
Nothing wrong with the charging. Its just when you charge the mouse you can't navigate windows. Unless they now can be charged

Best thing is to get a 32 gig thumb drive. Then you will not need to make copies on 10 disks. Then later add a new back up. When it gets full you then can delete the old backup.
