    Establishments Banning E-Cigs - 2 reasons

Beat me to it. Love that Phillips guy; I may start a fan club.

Heh, yeah. My cocker spaniel is a staunch supporter of overeating. :) Sad but true. The worst part is that those inconsistencies add even more acrimony to an already contentious arena.

That reasoning could be extended to everything we do in our lives, and none of us would be pleased with the end result. Rock climbing is far more dangerous than eating greasy cheeseburgers. Should people who engage in reckless behaviors like rock climbing get a free pass simply because they...

    Non-smoker using e-cigarettes?

Whatever happens, don't start smoking. How's that for advice from a stranger? Basically none. They look similar, but vaping isn't smoking.

Thousands, if not millions, of smokers may die unnecessarily if the opposition succeeds in marginalizing vaping in the eyes of the public. That's not to say that our opponents are deliberate evil-doers; in most cases they probably believe they're in the right, but that's the very reason they're...

Makes one wonder what the student believed before taking that class. Perhaps that, in a stunningly ironic turn, human breasts exist to prop up the brassiere industry?

    Triton with VG juices?

The Triton tank works very well with the 100% VG juices I've tried in it. I do wash my tanks (soak them in vodka) fairly often just as a matter of habit, though. Your mileage may vary.

That is true, and if this were a relevant forum for me to air my long-standing annoyance with the categorization of non-profit businesses, I'd be cheering you on for making that observation. But no one in CASAA is paying herself a generous salary out of untaxed revenue. Like it or not...

    Ms T's Waiting Room

Many things are possible, but most of us usually deal first and foremost with what is plausible. And what is most plausible to me is that, if Mrs. T continues to run her business as if it were a hobby, her customer base will dwindle until she's left with only a relative handful of die-hard...

The "right" talk boils down to needlessly contentious semantics. All kristin said is that you don't have a Constitutionally protected right to vape -- and that's true -- but that doesn't mean that kristin or anyone else in this thread believes that you don't have a right to do anything that...

£550,000 goes up in smoke! World's most expensive e-cigarette ($875,985 us)

    Ms T's Waiting Room

It is extremely difficult to run a small business, no question. But even apart from all of the responsibility and the long hours and the hard work, running a successful small business requires a certain personality type, and not everyone has it. I surely don't have it; believe me, I've the...

Blow Up - Any Truth To The Rumor That E-Cig's can "Blow Up" ?

I apologize for skimming most of the thread, but I feel compelled to add the following, obligatory note: It's true that a personal vaporizer can "blow up," but it's also true that you might get struck by lightning. As long as you don't handle your batteries negligently, there's an absolutely...

    Provari...why do people get uptight?

That's a fair assessment on the whole. What works for you is what's best. Vaping is ultimately subjective. Personally, I don't own a Provari either, and I'm not (yet) in the market for one -- but it is worth noting that the Provari does have objectively measurable advantages with regard to...

Is vaping really cheaper than smoking

I think the hobbyist angle actually helps a lot of us distract ourselves from cigarette cravings, at least over the first few months. So in a sense, you could almost blame the tobacco for any extra costs you incur on your vaping journey. ;) It's also probable that those of us who become vaping...

    Ms T's Waiting Room

It is kinda interesting to note how all of the staunch-Mrs-T defenders who were crawling all over this thread a month ago have vanished. Personally, I wish the woman well; I truly hope nothing serious is wrong in her life, but I've known too many people who run their businesses as if they were...

Is vaping really cheaper than smoking

Yeah, vaping's as expensive as you want it to be. You don't even have to DIY juice to save lots of cash over the long term, but that initial period during which you're seeking for good standby juice flavors can certainly feel very pricey.

    Provari...why do people get uptight?

Except that if we were talking about a truly Apple-esque product, Provaris would require juice-delivery devices with a proprietary connection, filled only with proprietary juices, which would be heated using power from proprietary batteries, which would require a proprietary charger. ;)

NYC just past raising smoking age to 21, including electronic cigarettes

If you want to change the age of legal adulthood to 21, then that's fine, but do it across the board. If I can be sued or tried as an adult at age 18, then there's zero justification for arbitrarily restricting my ability to buy alcohol or tobacco or to apply for a credit card for another 3 years.

Incidentally, I stumbled across a morbidly hilarious story about one North Dakota woman's approach to this evening's festivities: N.D. woman to hand out "fat letters" to obese kids during Halloween - CBS News I only mention it because the story describes the same kind of nosy...
