Are you sure your Twist is putting out 4.8 volts at 1.8 ohms? 'Cause PBusardo's chart seems to indicate that the Twist maxes out at 3.7 volts on a 1.5 ohm coil, which gives us ~2.5 amps and ~9.1 watts. Here's a screenshot the chart if you're curious. The top wick's there for a reason. A lot of people remove the so-called flavor wick (top wick) on various different types of clearomizers for a variety of reasons, but they often encounter leaking problems later, because one of the top wick's jobs is to soak up excess juice. I wouldn't mess... -

For what it's worth, I never touch the head assembly when washing. I just unscrew it, rinse, and throw the whole thing into vodka to soak for about an hour. If I've been using the head for awhile, I might very gently pull the wicks to one side or another to see if there's any lingering burn... -

MBV doesn't pre-steep juices because they offer a crapton of customization options, which means that the only practical solution is to mix the juice to order. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is in the eye of the beholder. I appreciate your other thoughts, though. Well stated. -

~90% of every e-juice is comprised of PG and VG (and nicotine). That is universal. Everything else may or may not significantly alter the cost of the final product. Even if high-end flavorings cost 10 times more than generic flavorings, given the relevant quantities it's hard to imagine...
