    There's only 2 measures of performance with tanks, imho. Does the tank hold liquid well? (No leaks) Does the window/body of the tank hold up to your liquid (No cracks). The Pro-V Cartomator tank and others look really great, but at 60 bucks, I really don't want to buy plastic windows. Again...

    Yeah, sounds really fishy when a 2.0 ohm rated carto shows up as 1.2 on your device. For the Zmax, I'd suggest staying above 2.0 ohm, personally, since they run a little bit hotter.

    I've been looking at that one. Nice OLED screen, check resistance with one button, but from what I understand the voltage measurement is not accurate. So having a tough time really, deciding if I can live with the shortcomings.

    Have to +1 what recidivus said. I have a digital multimeter and a ohm meter w/ 510 connection box thing from madvapes. Both work fine, but I find myself reaching for the ohm meter more. Is it worth 20 dollars? probably not, it's damn convenient though. You don't have to touch the probe together...

    It could, if you start rebuilding them. I use 100% cotton (3 bucks at walmart) + 32AWG kanthal (10 bucks shipped on ebay for 100ft), both price i quoted would get you an amount that's probably more than you would EVER need.
