    I got my Kayfun and Kayfun Lite from Cloud9. It took around 7-10 days to get here. My only complaint was they charge VAT even for US customers. I've heard people having good experience with intaste. Check out the Kayfun thread :)

    From what I understand, bakero wire is just flat ribbon wire kanthal with different size. On topic, if you want to wrap the coil on the cotton wick, a straightened paperclip or two would help give enough space between the wick/coil as to not "choke" the coil.     Do that before you put the thing down. I do the same thing with my gennies. No condensation. Orientation doesn't matter, Kayfun does not need to be kept upright.

    Have you tried it in hybrid mode? Take the bottom plate off the Kayfun + 510 off the Semovar and connect. That'd be the only reason I'd get a Semovar.

    Can't say I've used the Sony Cells, but if it says 10A continuous(?) discharge, should be good. Never used the x6 mod too on the bottom, might want to ask them if battery is included. Looks like a 14500 mod to me. Also, might want to get silica wick + kanthal wire for the dripper. 2-3mm Silica...

    I want to say that the shiny colored ProVari you saw on the classies had custom paint jobs. As in, removed all coatings to bare stainless, and repaint. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.
