    I have plenty of gennies in the stable, but the REO has been a staple whenever I have to travel, or just plain leave the house for an extended period of time. Put a fresh battery in, and top up the bottle, can't beat the simplicity. I've been running a Chalice on top of a REO grand @ around 1-1.3Ω.

    Not, the OP, but my Cobra's threads don't seem to be cut right. No material missing, it just sits crooked on everything I've tried it on. I got a couple back when Phiniac first released them. One is perfect, this one in question never got used, so I never noticed it till today. :(

    Test of AW 18650 3100mAh (Black) It's not a bad battery, 6.2A rated amp draw and 9.3A trip protection. Won't be running SLR, but that battery should work well.

    Battery life is all in the amp draw. The lower the amp draw, the longer your battery lasts (counter intuitive if you're looking at the voltage, I know). As to vape quality, I don't notice it, but some people do.

    It's just 32AWG Kanthal ran side by side. A dual coil/single wick setup if you will. That build metered out at 1.3Ω. The wires are only crossed at the posts. Oxidize the mesh well :) Took me a couple tries, popped the coil on my first 2 tries before I remembered switching to a worn battery heh...

    Stopped by Home Depot today, and picked up some wire rope the SKU from this thread. The SKU for the 1/16 had "Galvanized" on the spool, but the SKU for the 3/32 is good it just says Stainless Steel. Also found 1/8 with the same Stainless Steel writing on it. Total came to $5.50 for 10ft of 3/32...
