    most flanged cartos are also the DCT size (or XL) and they wont work in the BB anyway. You need to get standard 35mm cartos

    I wonder in there is any way to get a xl size carto in the bb tank. Does anyone know if it will fit through the brass ring and just stick out a little?

    I totally agree. I also love Todds reviews. Very candid and no editing. He can ramble a bit but that's part of the charm I feel. I myself am a total RBA guy, and this is my only carto mod that I use. I have plenty of carto tanks (Lava, Bella, DCTs) but once I found RBAs they all became dust...

    So I just punched a kanger LR and filled it then installed it in the BB. It was too short. These come from a bach I got about a year ago, but I don't think they have changed their size. The problem was that not enough of the carto came out of the top of the tank to make contact with the brass...

    Thanks everybody for the info on battery times in relation to ohms/volts. But now I think I screwed up, I ordered a bunch of LR IKV cartos. Oh well, I also have a ton of LR boges and Kangers so looks I will be an LR guy with my BB for awhile

    I do three holes. 2 low and one in the middle. I tried slot cutting but I always ended up with flooded cartos. Plus I don't like having to get out the Dremel and make a mess for a single carto. I love the convenience of punches

Loaded it up with a standard boge carto and some Kentucky blue grass and it hits like a champ. I am truely a rebuildables guy but I do love this BB. I just can't seem to get the flavor...
