Yes, I tried them all. My home computer at that time was an ATT 7300. Sadly, the only one of the three that would work with a Unix machine was AOhell. However, then (as now) 90% of everything I do is via ssh (telnet at that time). BBS worked well on the 7300 as well. -

Older Folks and Vaping
I use a Reo with a rebuildable atomizer. I replace the cotton once a day, rebuild a wick about 1 a week. Daily routine is to remove cotton wick, dry burn coil, replace wick, fill 6ml juice bottle and swap battery (18650). I am done for the day. Wire gauge
I have heard that it is the "bubbles" of cotton. If you look at the cotton, you will see little spots in it. That is what I am calling the bubbles. -

Keep in mind that the VV contains a chip. The grand does not. With the grand, about the most that you can do is to collapse the spring, which as you said is replaceable. The VV does have a chip which should prevent the mod from firing, thereby not causing the spring to collapse. If it were me... -

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO
Warning: Stay away from those fly fishing stores. They have toooooooo many tools/toys to look at, fondle, admire and ultimately purchase. They have some really nice scissors there that are VERY sharp and suitable for cutting cotton from a wick, etc. -

What happens when you attempt to measure the resistance of the mod? I would attempt to measure the resistance between the two contacts of the atomizer PRIOR to putting any coil in it. That should give you an idea of what R2 is. You could then get an idea of what the total resistance of the mod... -

Requesting your opinion about "gifting" REOSMODS.
I continued to smoke analogs for about a year after starting up with vaping. Part of it was not having the correct equipment. Part of it was not having the correct juice. The other thing to consider is battery life. If you have to hit the coil longer to achieve the same vapor, I would think that would wear the battery down quicker (read you would need to charge it more often). Micro Coils to increase Vapor, flavor & TH
I use 30g k1 for about 9 wraps (1.6 ohm) on a mechanical. That is the best one for me. YMMV- malkuth
