I too use a REO. The major push to the Reomizer (RM2) was economical. Using NETs with the Vapage slant coil, I could only get about 3 days. Now, I get at least a week on a coil, change my wick daily (5 minute job) and continue on. The Vapage slant coils cost me about $10 each. The coil for the... -

That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than my experience with a different vendor. My mod is in its second trip back with major failure, and it has been gone (this trip) since 6/25. Note, I received the mod new on 6/11. Thank heaven I have a REO that has worked flawlessly since Day 1! -

When should you consider a repair kit?
When I was taking electronics classes, they told us that the electrons flow on the OUTSIDE of the conductor, not the inside. Therefore, if something is plated with gold, you would have the conductivity of gold, not the underlying material. -

Vmod vs REO? (please read first post)
I used their hybrid slant coil attys on my reo. I agree that they are outstanding. The problem was that I could only get 3 days or so from them, and they are too expensive to continue to use them. Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO
I am thinking of trying two strands of 30g K twisted together. I think the twisting will about double the surface area. My question is will it work in the mini configuration, and what should I expect for resistance? I am looking to be around 2 ohms.
