New user thinking of buying a Lava tube
I think you'll be happy with the LT. I have one, and it seems the 1st run production problems have been addressed. The only issue now seems to be centered around battery issues. When I ordered mine, it came with AW flat top 18650 batteries that have now been shown to be counterfeit. Not sure...- Fazed

+1 on getting real AW IMR batteries. The ones that came from volcano are counterfeit. Not saying they are bad, just that they aren't AW's and may or may not be IMR's. Surely soon, someone will tear one apart and see what lies beneath. Congrats on your LT! I have one and it's a nice mod...- Fazed

John. Having used both, I stated my opinion. That is what a review is. I didn't knock on your beloved lavatube. I like it. I even said so. In my opinion, the Provari is a more solid unit. I prefer to take it with me to work for that very reason. I have abused it and abused it, and it still looks... -

26 Hours with the LavaTube
Yes it has the nipple. It fits just fine. Not sure what battery he was using but the AW IMR fits fine. A protected battery with a nipple won't fit due to the protection circuit adding length. That I'd my understanding anyway, as I don't have any of those types of batteries to test it. Sent... -
