    After just a week of vaping, I find that the best policy is not to be obnoxious about it. Blowing huge plumes will probably piss off people, regardless of whether it's smoke or vapor. Keep it low key and avoid using the cigarette lookalikes and you should be fine. If someone raises a stink...

    In theory, it should be fine. In practice, all it takes is one shorted circuit in the charger to fry your computer.

    Great guide, thanks! I think I may have figure out a great alternative to a mangled paper clip: Bobby pins! The rounded end is less likely to catch on something inside, no bending is really necessary, and they're the perfect strength to grab the end cap off :)

    The wife and I spent 4 hours outside handing out candy tonight. I'd vape when the street was clear, then pop in some nasty teeth and zombie-shuffle out to meet the munchkins as they came asking for candy. Had a great time, and vaping made it even better.

    Start with enough nic to satisfy you. Perhaps 24mg or so for a pack-a-day smoker? Then, get lower and lower amounts until you're at 0 nic. When you can go a while on 0 nic, you've beaten the nicotine addiction and just have a relatively inexpensive hobby :) Edit: Ninja'd!

    I think a big help for me is that I married a non-smoker. She didn't harass me about it (much), but I took it upon myself to not smoke indoors out of respect for our shared enjoyment of the household. Now, I get to vape inside all I want, and she doesn't mind at all.

    Have you tried a tank mod? I'm wondering how easy they really are to use. If nothing else, it seems like they would be handy to hook up to a USB passthrough for vaping while on the computer at home. Ugh, here we go. Thinking up more ways to spend $$$ on the new hobby.
